"Are we sure about this?" Joy asked.
"Don't worry. Joohyun is almost legal, with her looks no one will suspect her." Yeri followed up. "This is way more fun than her staying at home thinking about her sister."
"Shut up Yeri! All you know is have fun, fun, fun! And even more fun! There's nothing wrong with missing her sister." The tall girl scolded.
"Yeri has a point, doing something else could help. But this is crazy. I don't think this is a good idea." A worried Seulgi stated.
Ever since Seulgi and Joohyun went to that festival and bumped into that girl, something came to Joohyun that made her feel like her sister is still alive. The group tried to convince her that it was probably someone that resembled her sister, and because of how much she missed her, her mind is playing tricks on her. Joohyun ignored their reasoning, playing tricks or not, Joohyun believes there was some connection there. And she recalled what her father had told her after she heard the news, they found a burnt body and some of her sister's DNA, which only means that it was inconclusive. At that time she was young and didn't know much, so she had to accept the fact that her sister was gone. But seeing that girl gave her some doubts, unless doppelgangers existed. Just as Yeri said, her mind had been filled with the possibility of her sister being alive for a while now. Sometimes she would take out her sister's pictures again, the pictures she put away back when she thought she had moved on.
"Seulgi is a party pooper!" Yeri retorted, but her eyes glowed when she thought of something exciting. "I am curious what's in there. Maybe Joohyun can even sneak out some of those magical drinks! I heard they are colorful! And don't we have Sun-young's old id." At the image of drinks sparkling in different colors, Yeri started dancing cutely on the spot and she felt her eyes were sparkling too.
Joy only shook her head at the youngest's wild imagination before turning her attention to the main player in their plan. "So, Joohyun what do you say?"
"If my father finds out about this, I am so dead. What if I get recognized?" Joohyun looked concerned. She was excited to finally see what a club is like after her friends hyped it up during their previous meetings. It's feels good to break rules, even for her, right? But she had every right to be concerned as some employees from her father's company visit there often.
"Here wear this." Seulgi gave her a black face mask, seeing that her friends are so into this plan. "With the lights and music, nobody will be able to recognize you through this. Not at a glance anyways. And that ID should work because both of you have bangs blocking your forehead."
"But she still so short, she's going to be identified as an underage. Maybe she should have worn heels." Yeri interjected.
"Yeri, one more time, shut up. Do you want her to go in or not?" Joy shushed her. "She has the aura of a CEO's daughter and with those scary eyes of hers, she will be fine. If anyone approaches, she can just glare them away." She smiled and gave Joohyun, now wearing the mask, a nod of approval. "No one can get past Joohyun's stare of death."
"Joy can you be anymore cheesy with your comments?" Joohyun looked at her friend in disbelief.
Joohyun dressed in all black, other than her loosely buttoned jacket, the rest of her outfit revealed her flawless skin and figure, a result of years of good habits and traits bestowed on her by her mother, effortlessly making her look older than she really is. She looked at her fake ID that Seulgi took from her friend slash art teacher and walked confidently towards the entrance of the club.
However things didn't go as planned, the overwhelmingly loud music and noise did not make it easy. Though her outfit suit the environment, her having never been to any similar environments before make her stuck out like a sore thumb.
