Chapter 15

On Sunday morning, Jessica dragged a hesitant Taeyeon to a field of grass beside a river. The latter is extremely nervous, because apparently a lot of people are at the set and this isn't a small jewellery company. Before they approach the staffs at their filming spot, Jessica brought Taeyeon to a stop.

"Remember you must assist me ok? If you are nervous just hold my hand." Jessica looked at her seriously.

"Got it." Taeyeon replied.

"Hurry up, walk faster!"

The two arrived at the shooting set, with all the cameras and equipments placed, and tents that the crew had set up. They stood there and looked around for Jessica's manager.

Taeyeon looked at the river and how she wished that she was here alone without all the commotion, where she could have all the view of the city to herself.

Looking at a now distracted Taeyeon, Jessica took this opportunity to grab her attention. She smiled gently at her and held both of her hands, swinging them back and forth, causing the latter to look at their hands and then meets eye to eye.

"Do you like it?"

Taeyeon glanced at the amazing view again and nodded.

"Then I'll take you here more often in the future." Jessica smiled wider at her, brushing her fingers along her hair as if she was holding the most precious thing in the world.

"Oh." Taeyeon mumbled dumbfounded.

Jessica looked into her eyes, knowing that she must be scared like she was back when she was at the nightclub. She normally would enjoy having Taeyeon in this state, but today she wants Taeyeon to be part of her success because she was the reason for where she is right now.

Taeyeon was enthralled by the sudden attention Jessica is giving her. Jessica never looked at her this way or it's just that she never noticed. Now that their current task demands them to be next each other without much movement, it allowed Taeyeon some time to think. During the past year, they have gotten along better than they did before, albeit they still bickered when they had the chance. After a few seldom nice exchanges, now she is starting to realize how pretty Jessica is when they are not fooling around.

Then she felt Jessica's hand pressed on her shoulders and slowly inched her face towards her own. She closed her eyes and braced herself for a kiss, but instead she heard a half chuckle and a snort.

"You really thought I was going to kiss you?" Jessica smirked as Taeyeon opened her eyes and looked back at her. "I was afraid that you will get nervous and get into the act too slowly." She touched Taeyeon's lips in amusement and started walking away.

Realizing that it was a trick, Taeyeon's eyes widened in shock and chased after Jessica out of pure embarassment, until an unexpect sound of applause happened beside her.

"Thanks for the great work! Good job!"

Taeyeon turned around and looked at the staff cheering and scoffed with a scrunched up face. What the f*...

She walked over to Jessica who was now chatting with her manager. When she got close, Jessica hooked her arm around her waist and dragged her close.

"Not bad you two. You guys look so good together! That's the exact look we want to convey to our viewers, two good friends just having fun. I hope we can keep this up and then next steps shouldn't be too difficult." The manager stated happily. "Now don't relax too much, we got another shooting with an endorsement from a jewelry company later."

"There are still more!?" Both of them exclaimed exasperatedly.

Her manager smiled at their sudden reaction and left the scene. Jessica immediately let go of Taeyeon and pushed her away.
