"She changed her name?"
Taeyeon nodded. "Her name is Sun-young now and goes by Hyomin. She is studying at an art school."
"When does she have class? Where does she live?" Sunny asked, eyes desperately seeking for answers.
"I will take you there come on."
...
They stood beside the door to the lecture room waiting for the class to be over. Sunny paced back and forth in the large hallway filled with lockers.
"Sunny, can you stop walking back and forth?"
"I am so anxious! What if she left because she didn't like me?!"
"If you don't stop moving back and forth like a pendulum, I won't like you too." Taeyeon rolled her eyes right before the door clicks open.
She waited standing besides the door, while a frantic Sunny tries to avoid getting into the on coming trafic of students. When the person they came here for didn't show, they furrowed their eye brows and looked inside the classroom.
"She is asking the prof a question, let her finish." Taeyeon held an anxious Sunny that wanted to charge in there in place, the latter nodded.
The girl inside the classroom finished with her question and bowed before heading out of the room, but came to a sudden stop. The professor nearly bumped into her, "Sun-young, are you ok?"
The girl nodded. "I will lock the doors, prof. I need a moment...just a few minutes."
The professor nodded and left.
After the professor walked out of sight, as if on cue the two old friends walked hastly towards one another, and hugged each other dearly.
Sunny sobbing uncontrollably spoke out first. "Eunhaeng, I missed you so much!"
It was more a heartfelt reunion than Taeyeon thought, so she stood from a distance and watched, feeling she had done something meaningful this time. She is not as heartless as one might see her as back then.
The two friends hugged for a while before breaking apart.
"I missed you too, Sunny." Her friend laughed with joy, corners of her mouth upturned baring her perfect row of glistening whites.
The girl was friendly and very pretty with large eyes. Taeyeon can tell this girl also had a cold and scary side to her, like Jessica. She can tell whatever it was that caused her to leave Sunny back then, was not because of bullying.
"I never thought I would be able to see you again."
"Awww!!! How come? You don't want to see me again?" Sunny whined, showing her aegyo for the first time in front of Taeyeon.
"Sunny!! You are still this silly...and cute." Hyomin pinched Sunny's raised cheeks in response. "But please call me Hyomin, it's what my friends call me now."
Sunny nodded happily. "It's a good name."
"Ok, enough lovey dovey, I am still here you know?" Taeyeon had to butt in before they actually believe that she is invisible.
"Oh, Hyomin meet my friend. Her name is Taeyoon. I actually met her on the day you disappeared."
Hyomin greeted her and the two shared a smile, before turning back to Sunny. "So, it didn't take you long to replace me, hmm?"
"Yah! It was you who suddenly ran away and left me alone to deal with Jessica and her evil minions."
"I didn't run away! At least not because of them."
