Taeyeon walked in front of Jessica blocking her way.
"Get out of my way." Jessica said angrily as she stopped, looking away.
"What happened?"
A distressed and angry Jessica glanced over at the garden behind the hotel, her dark brown hair disheveled, however that seem not to bother her one bit. There are a crowd of people gathered in front of Mr. Jung, who is standing above a small set of stairs that lead to the hotel's back entrance.
"He still doesn't care." She glared at the man that was her stubborn father happily chatting away with his friends. "Not only he still want me to run his stupid business, he even set me up with that arrogant prick."
Jessica noticed Joohyun standing beside Taeyeon, so she gave her a nod, only slightly apologizing for insulting the former's cousin. "Looks like you guys are busy, I will leave you guys be."
Before Jessica could leave, Taeyeon grabbed her hands forcefully, it was the grip that tells you that you are going with her whether you liked it or not. She gave Joohyun a small wave before heading towards the garden.
...
"Where are we going!?" Jessica lookd around the garden, dimly lighted by a few lamp posts.
Taeyeon gave her scattered brain of a housemate a stern stare for her to bequiet. "Are you an idiot?"
"What?" Jessica looked at her with a pair of knitted eye brows, can't help but feel confused and upset at the sudden insult.
"Why are you running away? That's just going to make the situation worse for you. Look, if you keep running away your father will never take what you want seriously."
"What then? Do you expect me to go up there and give him a hug? Then thank him for introducing me to such a handsome and talented boyfriend!?"
"No! I already helped you catch your father's attention, don't need to catch more."
"Then what do you want me to do??"
"Isn't there a performance by a few idols in a few minutes?"
Jessica nodded slightly. "But I am not interested. Not in the mood."
"Sica! I am not asking you to listen to them as an audience. You are going to perform tonight!" Taeyeon said, feeling fully confident in her idea and pretty excited too.
"WHAT!? Not gonna happen!"
"Totally going to happen! Your father is already aware of your singing, now you just need proof."
"What am I even going to sing? It's not going to sound better than those trained idols. It's just going to prove my dad's point. I am just a monkey dancing around in a circus."
"Come."
Taeyeon took Jessica's hands once more and went towards a couple of parked vans near the back entrance of the hotel. A few workers came and left, hastly preparing for the performance that was in 15 minutes or so. Usually they will bring extra instruments incase one stopped functioning, so Taeyeon took a pair of headphones and a laptop when they weren't looking. Then she lead a very confused Jessica to an inconspicuous area in the garden.
"Taeyoon, the performance is on the other side." Jessica looked at their secluded location from everyone else, feeling kinda creeped out as this part was dimly lit and it is now late in the evening.
"You are not going to sing any song. You are going to sing a song that I remembered from somewhere."
"You produced a song?"
