Chapter 18

The next day.

Taeyeon walked with her arms outstretched in front, her hands held by a very excited Joohyun leading their way through an amusement park. The latter remembered how her sister used to be locked in the confinement of her room and how she wished they could escape and see the world together.

On the day she visted an amusement park for the first time, her sister was already gone. Which led her to wonder - what it's like taking her sister there. And tonight she wanted to experience that.

"How many rides do you want to go on???" Taeyeon looked at the girl holding her hand, eagerly dragging her forward.

"All of them!" Joohyun gleamed.

And that's just what they did, Taeyeon accompanied a child like Joohyun on every ride, including the ones that looked like they were for much younger individuals.

Now they are eating streetfoods while looking at the various mini game stalls, which brought back memories of Tiffany.

Their silent snacking broke when Joohyun saw a stall that had bunny plushies behind the counter. Seulgi had already won one for her before, but this time she want one from Taeyeon too.

"I am tired! Can't I finish this rice cake first??"

"But unnie!!! It's going to be won by another person if we don't go now!!"

"What is this all of a sudden? How old are you again?"

Joohyun pouted, but not without showing a bit of a satisfied smirk on her face. This is exactly what she wanted, to be scolded by her sister again.

"Come on, I will hold your rice cake for you."

"Fine." Taeyeon handed over her half eaten rice cakes. "Don't drop it!"

Joohyun nodded quickly like a kid.

While Taeyeon was playing a game where you have to toss hoops over moving objects, Joohyun admired her sister being so focused while she tossed each hoop with precision. In the end, she managed to land all 8 hoops over the moving targets. Seulgi won her many gifts before, but she wasn't this good.

"Wow!" The host of the stall clapped his hands looking very impressed by what he just witnessed. "This is the first time I have seen someone landed all 8 hoops! As promised, which prize would you like?"

"I want that big large one!" Joohyun chirped as she jumped up in delight. "We qualify, right??"

The man chuckled at the child like adolescent and handed over the largest bunny plushie from the stall. "I don't think I have a big enough rabbit for what your friend had just accomplished!"

After wrapping one of her arms around the large bunny whilst still holding onto Taeyeon's rice cake on the other, Joohyun launched herself at an unexpecting Taeyeon for a hug.

"MY RICE CAKE!" Taeyeon shrieked with a disheartened expression when she saw the rice cake fell from the skewers down onto the muddy grass. "OW!"

"Sorry, I think your hair caught on one of my sleeve." Joohyun said as she stepped back from the hug.

"Nevermind the hair. My poor rice cake." Taeyeon faked a sob as she picked up the rice cake from the ground, now covered in dirt.

"Stupid rice cake, why are you not in my sister's belly!"

"What?"

"Uhm, I mean I like we are close like we are sisters, aren't we?"

"I guess in a way we are."
