It had been a month since the incident with Yoongi. His mother and brother visited every day until you left back to college. You were glad he didn't come too since you don't know what to say or how to act around him. Even at school we avoided each other, well I avoided him.
Yuri would hang out with Jimin and the rest of the boys and try to get me to join but I would just put my headphones on and walk away. I would spend most of my time outside of class in the music room. Music always helped me relax. I didn't know what to think right now. On one hand I hated myself for letting Yoongi get this close to me, but I couldn't deny that I had feelings for him. Nobody else has ever held me so gently before and despite the bickering and teasing he wasn't a bad guy.
"But he'll break your heart, Alex." I mumble to myself as I walked into the empty music room. I threw my bag down against the wall and sat down at the piano bench. Closing my eyes, I let my fingers press some of the keys while I thought of a song. I sighed and started playing the only song that I could think of to help me let my feelings out.

Tell me somethin', girl
Are you happy in this modern world?
Or do you need more?
Is there somethin' else you're searchin' for?
I'm fallin'
In all the good times, I find myself longin' for change
And in the bad times, I fear myself
Tell me something, boy
Aren't you tired tryin' to fill that void?
Or do you need more?
Ain't it hard keepin' it so hardcore?
I'm falling
In all the good times, I find myself longing for change
And in the bad times, I fear myself
I'm off the deep end, watch as I dive in
I'll never meet the ground
Crash through the surface, where they can't hurt us
We're far from the shallow now

I trail off and realize I'm crying as a tear hits the piano keys. Why am I crying? Did he really already have this much of a hold on me? I pull out my hand mirror and make sure my contacts are still in place as a dry my tears and grab my things to head home. Walking off campus I realize it's dark. I pull out my phone and check my messages and see it empty. Some friends you lot are. I think as I take a detour through the city just wanting to walk. Why is life so complicated? I should have been born brown. Poor but at least no other worries. My mom was able to live happily all these years despite the issues. I wonder how her, and dad met. Yuri has things easier. No worries at all. Money and a family that supports as well as beauty and confidence. I had none of those. Why was she friends with me? Why was Mi-Sun friends with my mom? I'll never understand people.
I look up to see where my feet took me and find a small bar with not too many people in it. I walk in and sit at the counter taking in the scene. There's a girl and a guy onstage singing together. The place is small and cozy. The smell of mahogany and alcohol fill my nose as I look around at the people. Everyone looks happy. It's quiet for a bar but it seems like a place I could get used to.
"You look like you could use a drink." I look up to see the bartender slide over a shot glass of clear liquid.
"Thanks." I smile as I down the burning liquid realizing it was Vodka.
"So, what's your name? I've never seen you around here before. Most of the people here are regulars and come here often but you're new."
    "Alex. What's yours?"
"My friends call me BamBam." I giggle at the silly nickname. He laughs along with me, and I notice a small freckle just under his left eye. His eyes. They were a shimmering shade of Emerald green that was inviting.
"If you keep staring, you'll have to pay a fee." He smirks and I feel my face grow hot. He laughs again shaking his head at his own joke.
The couple on stage finish as I see BamBam hold up a finger to me and run onto the stage.
"Alright anyone else feel confident?" The small crowd is silent.
"You do it Bam!" I hear a man yell from the crowd, and I see BamBam chuckle while the rest of the crowd agrees and chants his name.
"Alright guys only because you've all been well behaved tonight." He looks over at me and winks as he presses play on a small stereo system at the back of the tiny stage. He begins to sing and rap and I'm amazed that someone with this much skill works in a bar serving drinks. I'm trapped in a trance and before long everyone is cheering his name as he heads back over to the counter and another girl walks on stage.
