"It Can't Be!"-Stony

Chapter 37

   Steve p.o.v

We all decided to go to the beach today by walking again, Tony was doing really well until the sun started to go up. I looked back and Tony was sweating all over but it was a good thing we left early because, there wasn't a lot of people. We found a good spot to put our things.

Tony was Putting up the big umbrella we bought and laid in the shade. Sam was over there with his cooler while me and Bucky were in the water playing.

"You know I've never seen Tony swim before, or touch water at the beach." I heard Bucky say while filling up water and dunking it on me. I've also wondered myself why he doesn't get in the water whenever we're at the beach. Me and Bucky decided to carry him in the water...well just me. As I walked towards Tony, Sam had an amusement smile on his face. I picked Tony up and was walking towards, "Steve! What are you doing!? Let me go!" Tony was moving around so I walked faster to the water.

As I got closer Tony was yelling profanity at me, he scratched my face a bit, so I dropped him in the water. He looked really angry, like a Pomerania, cute, angry.

  Tony p.o.v

I was talking to Sam while Bucky and Steve were in the water. Sam asked me if I actually like Steve and not playing with his feeling. I answered him honesty, "I've have been distracting myself and not acknowledge my feeling for Steve. He was always around Bucky and just him being near Bucky made it easier to not like Steve. While we where over there in that world and finding out that we were soulmates or whatever it was, I didn't believe it but after we left and Steve being weird, made it harder to push those feeling and after a while I've developed feelings  for him." I was going to continue but then Steve came and picked me up.

I was screaming at him and yelling any curse words I can for him to put me down. We got closer to the water and he dropped me in, I was really angry and flustered that he carried me where everyone can see. I stood up and  splashed water in his face. I'm ok with just the shallow end and not the deep area. Steve splashed water back at me, we kept going backwards to the deep area,  I was following him bit by bit  but I stopped at one point and started walking back to Sam. I looked back and saw that Steve looked confused, he started walking towards and I knew I was going to need to explain why  I wont get close to the water. Sam got in front Steve while he let me "escape".

I was in the park on the bench, in hopes that Steve didn't follow. After a few minutes I felt someone sitting beside me, I took a look and it was Steve, "If your afraid of the water you can just tell me." I heard him say, "Did Sam explain it to you?" Steve nodded, "sorry I forced you in the water." I told him it was ok and that I don't mind the shallow area. We got ice cream and walked to the hotel because it was getting dark, and I was getting tired. At one point Steve carried me back home because my feet were bothering. Steve was asking if I wanted to go to an arcade and I said yes. I don't remember what else we were talking about because I went to sleep at some point.
