"Your beauty is breathtaking."
I rolled my eyes after I pinch him on the side of his stomach. We're currently at his condo and we just had our lunch. I'm studying while he is doing his paperwork.
"Tigilan mo ako," ani ko
I think he's done with his thing because he closed his laptop. Then he leaned forward, both of his arm in the table and his chin resting on the palm of his hands.
"It's a fact, babe." he defended
I just shook my head and continued studying because I will be spending the day tomorrow with my cousins. We'll be staying at Caya's house. Tita's still not talking to Caya so we're doing our best to be there for her, as much as we can.
Kier also did not bother me when he saw I'm reviewing. He just silently played with his iPad. I only glanced at him when he stood up and went to the kitchen. I fixed my eyeglasses before I continued reading my transes. I don't know for how long he was gone but when he went back to the living room, he was holding a tray. When I saw what it was, I smiled.
It's a plate of blueberry cheesecake and a freshly brewed coffee. There is also a box of dumpling.
"Thank you!" He leaned down and kiss my cheeks.
"You're welcome, as always."
I put down the pen and iPad so I could take a bite of the cheesecake. I sliced the cheesecake and when I tasted it, I gave him an approved sign.
"It's yummy!" I immediately knew that it was from my favourite bakeshop. I once told him about it.
"Really?" he asked. I nodded and sliced another.
"Here,"
He bit his lower lip to prevent from smiling when I offered the sliced cheesecake.
He held my hand which was holding the fork with cake then he guided it towards his mouth. When he took a bite, I immediately asked him.
"How was it?" I excitedly asked him.
"It's good. Not too sweet and I like the texture."
Napapalakpak ako. "See? I told you!"
I took another bite before I sipped from the coffee he made. So lucky to have someone who knows the blend of your coffee. I never told him about it but maybe he noticed the usual type of coffee I always order so he made one. And it is honestly good.
"You're going to practice venipunture, right? he asked
Tumango-tango ako habang kumakain ng cheesecake. "Yup! And don't you dare back out!" I eyed the protruding veins in his arms.
He laughed. "I won't." I told him I am still not confident with my phlebotomy skills so he offered. He even told me that he can ask his secretary if I wanted to do more venipunctures. How supportive can he be?
After I finished reading 5 chapters, I decided to take a rest. My head is throbbing. I can't process all the infos I am reading so it is kinda useless for me to continue. I have to unwind a bit before studying again.
Kier looked at my direction when he saw me stood up. I put down my iPad before I walked towards him. He was watching a movie. I'm jealous! He could watch all the movies he want to watch without feeling guilty. In my case, I always feel guilty if I am enjoying a movie because at the back of my head, I know I have pile of pending transes I need to read.
He extended his arms. I sat down on his lap as I hugged him. His body immediately covered my small frame. My lips are touching his neck and I can smell his expensive manly perfume. I like his scent. I like being this close to him.
