Chapter 8: Got it bad

"Hi, I'm Georgina. Kieran's ex-girlfriend."

Tikom ang bibig ko nang sabihin niya iyon. Hindi ko alam kung ano ang dapat kong sabihin. Should I be mad?

"Georgina..." Kier said in a warning voice. Georgina smirked, as her eyes went to me.

"Are you his girlfriend?" Even her tone was taunting.

I really do not know what's happening but one thing is for sure. Walang kami. So I shook my head.

"No." I said in a formal voice.

Tinaasan niya ako ng kilay bago binalik ang tingin kay Kier.

I sighed and distance myself from Kier. Pareho silang napalingon sa akin.

"I'll go ahead. I think I'm interrupting something here." I coldy said

My family taught me that you shouldn't make decisions especially if you are mad and or happy. Because that's only a peck of emotion. You shouldn't let your emotions cage you because the consequences are hard to deal with, if worst happens.

"No." Kier said. Hinawakan niya ang palapulsohan ko saka ako hinatak pabalik sa tabi niya. "We're going to eat our dinner, right?"

I almost rolled my eyes.

Is he stupid or what? How could we eat if his ex-girlfriend is here, in front of us?

"I changed my mind." I said as I tried to remove his hand from my wrist.

"Laureen----"

"Kier, uuwi na nga raw siya." I heard Georgina cut him off.

"Georgina. I swear. What the hell are you trying to play right now?" Ramdam ko na ang inis sa boses niya. Still, he did not let go of my wrist.

Tumawa lamang si Georgina. Parang nang-aasar. What the hell is happening here? Kung may problema sila, labas na ako roon. Kaya nga gusto ko nang umalis. Pero bwisit na Kieran. Ayaw akong bitawan!

"Georgina." He warned her again. "Where's Cody? I know you."

Mas lalong natawa si Georgina.

"F-fine! Fine! Aalis na nga ako!" Halos hindi na siya makahinga ng maayos sa kakatawa.

Sana maubosan siya ng oxygen!

"Bahala ka." ani Kier saka ako hinatak palayo kay Georgina.

Nang lingunin ko siya ay hindi na ito tumatawa pero bakas sa mukha niya ang kasiyahan. Napakunot ang noo ko nang may isang lalaking matangkad na lumapit sa kanya. He was also laughing along with her.

Tahimik kaming nakarating sa parking lot. Kaagad kong hinawakan ang palapulsohan ko ng bitawan niya ako.

"I'm sorry," he said when his eyes drifted to my slightly reddish wrist.

I rolled my eyes.

"I can go home on my own and we should just cancel our dinner." I said. Naiinis pa rin ako

"Are you mad?" He carefully asked

"Hindi."

"Georgina is a friend of mine." he said. "I don't know what's gotten in her. Pinagti-tripan lang nila ako. They knew I am dating someone kaya iniinis nila ako." paliwanag niya

"I don't need your explanation. I just really want to go home." I coldy said

I had enough drama for today. I just want to go home. I just want to feel the comfort of my home.

He sighed.

"Then I'll drive y---"

"No need. I can go home on my own."
