Hai Qing sent Pin Jun a photo of him and Yan Fei watching the movie.

Pin Jun replied after seeing the photo Hai Qing sent him. He had already thought about writing this e-letter to Hai Qing for a while now.

It read,
"I miss you so much, Hai Qing. I feel lonely. I am going to say something to you now. I have thought about this for quite sometime now. So this isn't random and I am serious about this.

I believe that you are my soulmate. We have known each other for more than a year now but it feels like I have known you for years. I have connected with you on a level that I could not with anyone else. And I want to be with you. Since I am autosexual, I can not give you love and sex like Yan Fei or another man can.

What I can give you is platonic love, the love of a best friend. If that is enough for you, please come to me. I hope it is enough for you.

I might be asking for too much but I need you here. It isn't the same without you.

Come to Japan. Please come to Japan.

We will live together here and lead a happy life. Now I know I might be asking for too much. Since you are not autosexual, maybe it is tough for you and I know how much you crave love. But I am going to be selfish here and ask you. I know what I want. I want my best friend here with me.

I have already talked to a friend at an NGO here. You will have a job when you arrive. So don't worry about livelihood.

Having said all of that, I want to propose to you now.
Will you move to Japan for me?"

Hai Qing received Pin Jun's text as Yan Fei's attention was on the movie.

Hai Qing instantly put all his attention to the text, forgetting Yan Fei for the moment. As he read the text, his eyes filled with tears.

Yan Fei noticed this. He asked Hai Qing what happened.

Hai Qing told him, "Pin Jun wants me to move to Japan for him."

A tear dropped from Yan Fei's eyes.

Now Hai Qing was going to consider moving to Japan, leaving him here in Taiwan, with emptiness.

He wanted Hai Qing to stay by his side, even if Hai Qing's heart belonged to Pin Jun.

Yan Fei was happy with just the time they spent together. He had convinced himself he did not want love from Hai Qing. He was okay with spending quality time and being friends.

That would be more than enough for him, even if he couldn't have Hai Qing's heart.

But maybe happiness was never in his fate.

Hai Qing broke Yan Fei's chain of thoughts when he said, "I am going to Japan. I have decided. I am going to Pin Jun."
