One day Ryan saw Carly with a coconut.

Ryan: She won't get away with that.

Ryan flew past the wolf guard at a fast pace.

John: Grab that coconut Ryan!

Ryan knocks it out of Carly's claw and John ran towards it with Nicole not far behind.

John: I got it!

Nicole: Oh yeah?

Then John and Nicole got on a ledge that collapsed.

John: That was fun!

Jacob: You guys okay?

Nicole: Yeah, thanks Jacob. Just be careful on that ledge.

Carly: Hmm. Yes. It is rather dry.

Ryan: Well the dry season is on its way.

John: One dry hillside's no reason to stop playing. Now, where is that coconut?

Melody comes up behind him with the coconut.

Melody: Right here!

Melody runs away and John went after her.

John: Come back here Melody!

The rest of the wolf guard laughs.

John: I'm gonna get it! I'm gonna get it!

Just then Melody stops in her tracks and John ran into her. She heard her mom telling her to be home by sunset.

Melody: Okay mom. I'll be home soon. (Turned to face the wolf guard) That was mom. She said I should come home before sundown.

John: Mom? You see her mom anywhere?

Ryan: Nope. And it's kinda hard to miss a moose.

Carly: Oh! They're using infrasound!

John: Infant sound? But Melody's not a baby!

Carly: Not infant sound. Infrasound! Some animals can talk using sounds lower than most of us can hear. It even lets them talk over long distances.

Nicole: Oh.

Ryan: No kidding?

Melody: It's just something moose do.

John: Unbelievable! So you can hear stuff from all over the forest? Like what?

Melody: Let me take a listen.

Zoey: I'm on my way to the wolf den.

Melody: Sounds like... Zoey. She's headed to the wolf den.

Carly flew up to take a look.

Carly: She's right!

Nicole: Pretty good Melody.

John: Yeah, yeah. What else?

Melody: Oh, uh...

Melody took another listen.

Kenai: I have to get to the wolf den.

Melody: Ooh! I hear Kenai. Sounds like he's going to the wolf den too!
