Kira and Brent went to the wolf guard lair.
Kira: I'm so excited Brent! I can't believe I'm finally starting my training! I can't wait to learn how to hear them!
Brent: This way Kira. This way. (Walks into the wolf guard lair with Kira) Wolf guard! Come! I have someone I want you to meet. This is my new apprentice. Kira! Kira, this is the wolf guard. And their lair.
John: Hiya Kira!
Carly: Greetings!
Jacob: Nice to meet you.
Nicole: Hi again Kira.
Kira: Hi Nicole. And wow! It's so fantastic to meet the rest of you! I mean, obviously I've seen you all before, while you're going around the forest, being all strong. And brave. And fast. And keenest of sight! And always saving the day!
John: Yep. That's us alright!
Kira: And it's so exciting to meet you all up close and personal!
Ryan: I'm sure it is.
Kira: It is! But I have to say, I really admire you and Carly the most Ryan. Brent says you and Carly are the only dragons to ever be on the wolf guard! As in, ever!
Ryan: Uh... we are?
Brent: It is true.
Kira: Yeah! You've got to be so proud! I'm proud and I'm not even you!
Ryan: Thanks Kira.
Kira: Sure!
Jacob: So Brent, why are you taking on an apprentice? Are you okay?
Brent: Yes Jacob, yes. I am fine. You see, when Kira was born, the wolves of the past told me that she would be the one to continue my role in the circle of life. And now that the stripes have appeared on her face, it is time for Kira to begin her training!
Kira walks up to him.
Kira: Brent? Did you do all of those paintings?
Brent: Only some. Most were done by those who came before me. And someday it will be your turn to paint them!
Kira: Okay...
Brent: Nicole, can you assemble the pack in front of the den for Kira's formal introduction?
Nicole: Sure Brent. I'll make sure we're all there. (Walks out of the lair and up to the den to get the rest of the pack)
A few feet away Kendrix and Vincent catch up with Damon.
Vincent: This is the place?
Kendrix: Yep. Damon says Brent and Kira went in there. Ugh, but if you ask me, we're already too close to the dire wolf den for comfort.
