One day in Brent's cave Brent was teaching Kira about all the forest celebrations.
Brent: And this is the day of peace celebration, when everyone in the forest gathers in peace to watch the wildflowers bloom.
Kira: Oh! It's so pretty Brent!
Brent: Yes Kira. And as royal mjuzi, you will need to know all of the forest celebrations.
Kira: Oh, good! Because I want to learn all the forest celebrations! (Walks over to another painting of a celebration) What's this one Brent? Is that Rocky?
Brent: (walks up beside her) Ah, yes, it is. Rocky is placing a star fruit at the top of his Christmas tree.
Kira: Christmas tree? But it looks like a pine tree.
Brent: Of course! You are new to the forest. You have not yet celebrated Christmas with us.
Kira: Christmas? What's Christmas?
Brent: It is the most wonderful celebration of all. Would you like to hear the story of how Rocky and Jason introduced Christmas to the forest?
Kira: Oh, yes! Please, please, please!
Brent: Very well. It begins with the appearance of a special star high in the sky. On the day before Christmas, a star shines so bright. All over the forest, it is seen day and night.
In the past.
Rocky: 🎶Jingle bells jingle bells jingle all the way. Oh what fun it is to--🎶
Jason: Uh, Rocky. That's not how I remember the beginning of the song.
Rocky: Come on Jason. How can you not remember? We sing it every Christmas.
Jason: I-- I know now, but...
Rocky hangs the last ornament.
Rocky: There! Jason? John? What do you think?
John jumps down from the tree.
John: Let's see.
Jason: Oh, it's beautiful Rocky.
John: Yeah uncle Rocky, it's perfect.
Rocky: Almost perfect. We still need the star fruit for the top of the tree.
John: One star fruit coming up. (Picks up the stars fruit with his mouth and throws it up to Rocky with his mouth) Here you go.
Rocky: (catches the star fruit) Thanks John. (Climbs up to the top of the tree) Now for the piece de resistance! (Puts the star fruit on the top of the tree) There. All done.
Just then the branch he was standing on broke beneath him. As he fell he screamed.
Jason: Oh, Rocky!
John: I got you! (Trips over a rock) Whoops.
Then the rest of the wolf guard showed up and Jacob caught Rocky just as he was about to hit the ground.
Rocky: Thanks Jacob.
Jacob placed him on the ground.
Nicole: We heard you shouting. Good thing we were close by.
Carly: Why were you in that tree anyway?
Ryan: And why are there gourds hanging all over it?
