One day the rest of the wolf guard was looking for Carly.
Nicole: Any sign of Carly?
John: Nope. Too bad she's not here. Carly could spot Carly for sure.
Then he sees Carly but she was getting chased by Jane and Trent.
John: Wait. There she is! And she's not alone!
Jane: Leaving so soon Carly? You've hardly had a chance to get a good look around.
Jane bit at the scales on her tail.
Carly: Don't touch the tail scales.
Jane: (looks over at Trent) Motion to attack from above and behind at the same time?
Trent: Aye!
Just as Trent and Jane were about to hit Carly, Carly flew a little further ahead to make them fly into each other. They fall to the ground.
Jane: Keep out of our skies Carly. You won't be so lucky next time!
Trent: Yeah. We'll catch you sooner or later.
Carly: You guys couldn't catch an updraft with both wings.
Carly flew over to her friends.
Ryan: Good going!
John: (jumps down from the tree he was in) Yeah. Jane and Trent got a beak-full of dirt for lunch.
Carly: Thanks. It was a little too close for me. (Smooths out the scales on her tail)
Nicole: What'd you see Carly?
Carly: The demon wolves and jackals are still in kilio valley. But the mountain lions are moving towards the volcano.
Ryan: Maybe George has plans for Alyssa.
Carly: Maybe. The vultures chased me off before I could see anything else. Sorry Nicole.
Nicole: It's okay Carly. I'm just glad you made it back in one piece.
Carly: More or less.
John: It doesn't matter what George's planning. The wolf guard will beat him!
Jacob: I sure hope so John.
Nicole: We need to stay alert. George could make his next move any time now.
Then they hear Adam say panic and run. They run away.
Jacob: What's up with the lynxes?
Nicole: Only one way to find out. Come on!
They go after the lynxes.
Nicole: Slow down everybody.
John: You heard the dire wolf.
Everyone stopped running.
Nicole: Is everyone calmer now?
The lynxes nodded.
John: So what made you panic this time? Jackals? Mountain lions? Earthworms?
Adam: Back there!
Carly: Okay?
Ryan: So what's the problem?
