"Maleek, ive missed you so much." I look down at a woman with Red hot high heels and a tight red dress, her chest is bursting out of the low cut top and her glass figure pops through her dress, she has white skin and bright blue eyes, her hair is platinum blonde and is in a curly high ponytail that lifts up her face. She has thin lips in red lipstick.  and her eyes are staring deep and dangerously into mine.

"You missed me? I just saw you 30 minutes ago." I say while pulling her body that is hugging me tight against mine away from me.

"I know honey boo but when i saw you standing there at the ceremony in your big jet black suit with your long hair and that sexy beard.." What have i gotten myself into. She lifts her hand to reach up to my beard and i cringe pulling it away from me.

"Barbie can you stop please?" I beg while stepping away from her. Me and Barbie met at my mothers funeral, she was a director at the funeral and spent a lot of time after wards trying to comfort me.... I'm sure she wanted to do it in another way but by God's grace I'm still here standing 9 years celibate, getting really tired of the whole thing. she has just clung to me ever since, and hey can you blame me for asking a beautiful woman who was there for me to be my date for the wedding?, i am getting way too old to not have improved in life at all. I panicked and seeing that Aaliyah moved on made me feel pressure to do the same thing.. but now im realizing how much of a mistake i made.

"What's going on with you, is this about your mother?" She asked still caressing my chest, i remembered the verse in proverbs where king Solomon warns young men about women who will try to seduce men of God and how their ways lead to sheol.

"Im going back inside." I tell her while pushing off of her, She reached her head up to give me a kiss and i pushed my head back in response.

"Why cant you just give me a chance?" She exclaimed, i can tell how frustrated she is getting but after Aaliyah i cant see myself dating anybody else, i want to but i don't know if i can..

"I'm going back to the wedding now."

"Maleek..." I walk back to the party and look for ace, I'm all for this wedding but i need to be on my way home right now, I'm so tired of the reminders of my mom, my situation everything, i need to go home and rest. I walk back into the room and see pastor troy walking my way, i see that a daddy daughter dance is going on and Stephanie's mother is talking to Joel, probably disciplining him on how to treat her daughter.

"Where were you? I didn't have the intent to treat you wrong, i apologize, i just need you to know that God hasn't brought you this far just to let you go."

"Thank you sir.." He nods back at me

"You don't mind telling Joel i am on my way back home now, do you? I just cant take this environment anymore, i don't want to send my negative energy around the room."

"I understand, have a good night." I shook his hand and released a long breath in relief.

"Did you like the wedding?" I am driving the car down the night street and its getting busy, ace is beside me and i can tell how much pain he is in, My biggest fear that Ace would turn into me, never expressing his emotions, give up on trust and on love, its all coming to life. His face is blank as he looks out the window with his face in his palm.
