Chapter 19

Anne's POV

Two days went by I never found a way out I was worried the invites made it to everyone I bet the invite said a dangerous monster was being shot how dare Andrias order the newt to write dangerous monster Marcy isn't dangerous she is innocent after awhile a newt came up to my cell I looked at him "What" I asked "Andrias wants you to get to the stage beforehand" he said unlocking the cell door I walked to him he put cuffs on me and escorted me there a stage big enough for shooting I saw a trapdoor the newt didn't want me out in the open when people come so he escorted me behind the stage "You know the Marsafur is harmless right" I asked "No it's not" he said "Well until you threaten it" I said "Are you trying to tell me this is wrong" he asked "Yes because it is" I said "Well I'm just following the King's orders so if he says the Marsafur is dangerous then it is" he said "It's not the stories you read are in the past it never will hurt anyone unless you threaten it" I said "Shut up prisoner" he said I stayed quite after awhile everyone came from everywhere in amphibia Andrias started it off "Welcome my fellow amphibians I have gathered you here today for a local shooting of a dangerous monster but first let's indroduce the guest of honor Anne Boonchuy" he said the newt escorted me to the front of the stage alot of amphibians were there no sign of Burt or any of the other monster hunters "I know what you are thinking why is she in cuffs well she tried to break out the dangerous monster" he said everyone gasped at me I felt like dying but not really "Now let's hear it for the dangerous monster.....the Marsafur" he said then some newts escorted Marcy out she had a chain back on her neck and no way of deafending herself a newt handed Andrias' his gun "Thank you" he said then he got it ready he took awhile he was almost done until I had to say something I head butted the newt next on my left side and then I kicked the newt on the right everyone was focused on me I ran to the middle of the stage "Everyone don't listen to Andrias this monster is innocent" I said everyone gasped "Really" someone in the crowed asked "Yes it is Andrias wants you to think that the Marsafur is dangerous so he can shot it with someone like all of you watching" I said Andrias heard me, lowered his gun, turned around, and looked at me I turned around and stared at him "So Anne you think you're so clever these amphibians won't hear you they don't believe you they believe me" he said "Yes I will make them believe me" I said "If they believe you the Marsafur will protect you from me shooting you" he said I fell on the ground he aimed his gun at me I saw that Marcy was saw this and was trying to escape she didn't he shot at me luckily it shot my cuffs and they fell off he looked mad, he reloaded his gun, and aimed it back at me Marcy was trying to escape she did then Andrias shot Marcy came in and saved me just at that momment the bullet went into the floor she grabbed me by her mouth and my shirt she put me down and made sure I was okay "It saved her" someone in the crowd said surprised "It's not a dangerous monster at all it's a protecter" another person said Andrias reloaded his gun and aimed it at us Marcy grabbed me again and ran out of the way he reloaded it again and shot at us again Marcy ran out of the way again the crowd was gasping at me and Marcy's close calls "Hey leave those people alone Andrias" one person said Andrias turned around and more gained on him "She is right Andrias leave those people alone" another person said Andrias got mad at the crowd "So you all believe this monster insead of me your king" he said "Yeah you are trying to kill it" another person said "Well then maybe I'll kill all of you" he said Marcy heard him and as he was reloading his gun to shot the crowd Marcy tackled him I noticed she tackled him on the trapdoor she was growling at him then the trapdoor had too much weight on it and it dropped everyone gasped I ran over and saw Andrias' gun I grabbed it and jumped down the trapdoor I heard some noise in the crowd but Marcy and Andrias were fighting I heard someone stomp on the stage they shot the newts probably darted them they jumped down the trapdoor once they got rid of the newts they had hoods and masks on they removed them and it was Burt and the other monster hunters "We got the invite and we came to help" Burt said "Thanks captain" I said "Also you were gone for two weeks we kinda knew something was up" he said "Yeah Andrias plans on shooting the Marsafur we can't let that happen" I said "Ok I guess the hunter has become the captain" he said I laughed a bit then Andrias pulled out a gun I noticed it was a dart gun unlike the gun I had in my hand he shot at me and the monster hunters he got some and we ran I aimed the gun at him "You wouldn't dare" he said "Yes I will stop this thing and stand down I have the monster hunters" I said "Yes you do but I wouldn't be so sure on that" he said she shot at us again and got some monster hunters with his darts but then Marcy saw this and ran over to protect us she got darted and went down for a minute then got back up she growled at him and ran over to him she tackeled him and growled right in his face she raised her paw, the thing cover her paw fell off, she swiped, and scratched him he was mad and grabbed his dart gun and shot her she backed up and fell a bit then got back up again he shot at us she ran over and took the dart again she fell again but didn't get back up as fast as last times I tried to pull out the darts but she got up and ran at Andrias again he shot at her but she douged them but then she didn't douge the last one at Andrias darted her she fell I ran up and started pulling the darts out I made it to her face and held her snout "It's ok" I said her eyes fell flat and almost closed her eyes "Burt do you have something to help the darts effects" I asked "Yes I think I do you two cover me and Anne from Andrias" he said "Yes captian" two monster hunters said then pulled there guns out and covered us Burt filled a neddle with some luqid he gave me it "It's okay just a little neddle" I said to Marcy I rubbed a disenfecting cloth on her I put the neddle in and pushed the luqid in and stayed there for a bit then I took it out she standed up right away I gave the neddle back to Burt and he put it back in his belt I turned around and the two monster hunters got darted by Andrias I picked up his gun and aimed it at him, I put my finger on the trigger and almost shot "slid the gun over Anne or your Marsafur will be darted" he said I lowered the gun "Ok, ok just don't hurt it" I said I put down the gun and slid the gun over to him he put his dart gun away and pick up the gun I slid over I turned around to rub Marcy's snout then I felt something shot me in the back I turned back around at Andrias and he shot a dart at me I felt light headed and fell down Marcy ran to Andrias all the monster hunters who weren't darted gather around me to see if I was ok "Anne stay conscious" I heard Burt say I couldn't see much and the last thing I saw was someone getting darted I think I heard a bullet.

Burt's POV

I turned around by the sound of a gun shot and Andrias turned around smiling I looked down and I noticed Marcy on the ground turning back to her normal sate I turned back around "Guys we got to get Anne and Marcy out of here" I said "Yes captain" some monster hunters said two got Anne and I ran over to help another monster hunter with Marcy we escaped Newtopia and made it back to Wartwood where we took both of Anne and Marcy to the infirmary where they were helped then took them to their rooms where we wait for them to wake up they're both alive thankfully.
