Inkwell Casino Scenarios

Their Phobias

I got this idea while reading a book which spoke vaguely about fears and I realized that I haven't done a scenario about them yet. So here you go. In these scenarios, you won't be depicted as someone with the same fear just to make my life slightly more easier. 

These are my headcanons for what they might fear. So yeah.

Warning: These will obviously hold depictions of situations which you may not be comfortable with maybe due to your own phobia. So do be careful when reading this.

Pip: Achluophobia 

+ Achluophobia = Fear of darkness.

+ For a long time, you never realized his fear of dark, all you knew was that he usually slept with his lamp on or with the door open while you were in the living room.

+ You only found out when a black out occurred in the casino while you and him were backstage just after his show had finished. Everything was quiet until you heard him whimpering. The lights were out for a solid 10 minutes and during that time you could hear Pip getting more and more distressed.

+ When the lights did turn back on, you were in his arms and he was clinging onto you for dear life as if you were going to leave him.

+ Every time there is a black out now, you always make sure that you are by his side.

Dot: Acrophobia

+ Acrophobia = Fear of heights

+ She told you this pretty straight up when you two happened to have decided to go to a theme park and she wasn't going on any of the rides.

+ You asked her why and she explained her fear of stuff like that.

+ So your dates at theme parks are more based on the food or exploring any mini games that may be nearby.

Chips: Trypanophobia

+ Trypanophobia = Fear of needles/injections

+ He also didn't tell you about his fear, mainly due to the fact he didn't think it was important. It only became a problem when he got into an accident and broke his arm. The only pain killers he was able to take was in the form of an injection.

+ He instantly was against the idea of an injection and even attempted to make a run for it when he was stopped by Wheezy. In the end, he did have the injection but was extremely freaked out afterwards.

+ He did admit to his fear after the incident though.

Wheezy: Coulrophobia

+ Coulrophobia = Fear of Clowns.

+ It came up in conversation while you two were talking about the weirdest people you had ever met. You happened to bring up Beppi and he instantly flinched at the name.

+ He explained how when he was younger he was put into a room with a clown very similar to Beppi who spent an hour or two terrorizing him. Ever since then, he has tried to avoid them with all of his power.

+ He couldn't from it forever though since like a week later Beppi came into the casino and Wheezy had to talk to him due to him being way to disruptive to a few of the other clients after having too much to drink. Once he had been kicked out, Wheezy went to hide for a few minutes. You found him in the midst of a panic attack.

(for those of you who love Beppi I am sorry, I just didn't know why else Wheezy would have to talk to him).

Pirouletta: Arachnophobia

+ Arachnophobia = Fear of spiders.

+ You found during the first few weeks of working with her when a small spider happened to be chilling out on one of the doorways to the main room. You happened to walk by and see her look worried.

+ You asked what was up and she pointed out the spider. You managed to get rid of it with ease and vaguely joked about it to her.

+ There were a few more incidents as time went on, with a major one being one of clients who happened to come in who looked just like a spider. Pirouletta just tried to avoid them at all cost and it took you a moment to realize why. As soon as they left, she relaxed and continued on her job with no distractions.

Mangosteen: Claustrophobia

+ Claustrophobia = Fear of small/enclosed spaces.

+ You and him happened to be cleaning up after the casino had closed and both of you had went into the storage room to put stuff away when the door got jammed. With the two of both being stuck in there.

+ At first everything was fine, until you mentioned how you were probably going to be stuck in there for a while. That was when he started to freak out. You attempted to comfort him but in the end, everything became too much for him and he was stuck in a full blown panic attack.

+ Thankfully, one of waitresses happened to have left something in the casino and heard the chaos. They called King Dice and he managed to open the door. Ever since then, Mango hates being in the closet.

Hocus Pocus: Iatrophobia

+ Iatrophobia = Fear of doctors

+ He never mentioned this to you prior and you found out like a few months into your relationship. After an attack from some guy who had came into the casino, he had managed to break one of his ears. People attempted to convince him to go to the hospital but he kept denying going.

+ In the end, you managed to find out that when he was younger he was used as a test subject for different make up products by people in big white coats, just like most of the doctors in Inkwell Isles. So in the end, you managed to find someone who wasn't a doctor but was in training and he managed to fix it.

+ To this day, he will never step foot in a hospital.

King Dice: Astraphobia

+ Astraphobia = Fear of thunderstorms

+ Thunderstorms are usually fine for the King, since he is usually preoccupied while they are going on and the sounds in the casino tend to drown them out. But after work hours, he has nothing like that to distract him from it.

+ You actually found this out before you started dating when the two of you were hanging out after hours with Wheezy and Chips. After a few strikes of lightning, King eventually went to his room claiming that he was tired. Chips and Wheezy told you the real reason and you rushed up there after him.

+ You found him sitting on the floor, curled up in the corner. You stuck with him during the storm and after it to make sure that he was definitely okay.  

+ After that, every time a storm hits after hours he will usually go to your room.

Devil: Cynophobia

+ Cynophobia = Fear of dogs

+ He has always had a fear of dogs and you found out when you suggested the idea of getting a pet like that to him. He is able to handle Cerberus but dogs on earth terrify him. So he told you that Cerberus was your pet so that you would leave him alone.

+ Every time a client who happens to be a dog walks in, he makes sure that he is occupied in his office with "paperwork"
