"Alright, Effie?"
"Morning. Can I get you anything? Tea? Toast?"
"Lovely, cheers." Sirius grinned.
"Now, hang on a minute, how come he can have toast and I can't?" Fleamont asked as he opened his newspaper.
"Monty..." Euphemia warned her husband.
"Alright, Monty?"
"I'm alright son, apart from the fact that my beautiful wife is trying to starve me."
"Morning." James waltzed into the kitchen.
"Morning my little prince." Euphemia kissed James on the forehead before he took a seat next to Sirius.
"Did Remus sleep alright?" She asked, turning her attention back to Sirius. "I wish you'd have given us some warning. Did he say anything about my pants?"
"What?"
"They were on the radiator."
"Don't worry dear, he wouldn't have known they were pants. He would have thought they were bed sheets." Sirius, James and Fleamont all started laughing. Euphemia playfully smacked her husband until she was laughing too.
"Now," Euphemia recollected herself, "I've got fresh strawberries, raspberries, pineapple and melon." She placed the fruit platter down in the centre of the table. "I also have pan au chocolat and brioche." She placed another platter down.
"Where did all of this come from?" Fleamont looked up from his paper.
"I was down at Tesco's at five this morning!"
"Effie, you didn't need to do all this."
"Yeah, we're talking about Sirius' new boyfriend, not Princess Di!" Footsteps could be heard on the stairs.
"He's coming!" Effie shushed everyone as she quickly sat down. "Put that paper away, Monty!" Fleamont sighed but folded his paper and put it down on the table as Remus entered the kitchen.
"Hiya." He smiled. "I'm Remus." He sat down on the empty chair between Fleamont and Sirius.
"Would you like some tea, Remus?" Euphemia asked. "Coffee? Juice?"
"I'm fine, thanks."
"Right, well I'm off." Fleamont stood up, "It was lovely to meet you Remus." He pulled on his jacket. "Are you coming to the quiz tonight?"
"Yeah, I'll be there."
"Great. See you James, Sirius." He patted each one of the boys on the back as he passed by.

The Potters, Sirius and Remus all climbed out of Fleamont's car. "Remus, may I welcome you to The Three Broomsticks." James dramatically gestured at the pub making Remus chuckle.
"Why are you in such a good mood?" Euphemia asked her son.
"It's quiz night, I'm hosting. You know what that means." James pretended to drink, "Free drinks for me."
"Have you got the questions?" Fleamont asked.
"Don't worry, they're all up here." James tapped his head as he led the group inside.
The quiz soon got going, "Question number seven, who won the golden boot, world cup, Mexico, 1986?" There were groans from all around the pub.
"Oh come on, that's the second time tonight that Gary Lineker has been the answer." Fleamont shook his head as Sirius scribbled down the answer.
"Oh, here they are!" Fleamont stood up as a couple made their way over.
"Come on, we need you!" Euphemia said as she pulled the woman into a hug.
"Where have you been?" Fleamont asked as he sat back down.
"Do you want to tell them or shall I?" The woman asked her husband as she slammed her handbag down on the table making Remus jump.
"I don't mind," the man shrugged, taking a seat between Fleamont and Sirius.
"Seven O'clock he says he'll be back. He waltzes in at ten to nine."
"I was working."
"Oh I'm sorry, Phil, I thought you were a chartered surveyor, I didn't realise you worked in a brewery."
"Leave it out, will you."
"Then he strolls in reeking of booze."
"Now, now, Ruth, not in front of Remus." Ruth smiled at Remus. "Remus, this is Phil and Ruth Pettigrew."
"Hi Remus, love. Heard a lot about you."
"Hiya."
"You make me sick." Ruth hissed, turning back to her husband.
"Question number eight!" James' voice filled the pub once more, "Who took over from Des Lynam, on BBC One's match of the day?" Everyone groaned once more.
"Even I know that!" Euphemia sighed.

Sirius stepped into his bedroom and closed the door behind him. "Prongs has passed out on the sofa. I'm not moving him." Remus grinned as Sirius stripped down to his boxers and climbed into bed.
"I gotta be honest, I was really nervous about coming here."
"Why?"
"I've never even been to Bridgend on my own, let alone England. I didn't even know where Essex was. I'm not a hundred percent now. Does that make me stupid?"
"Nah. When we were in school, Prongs thought Spain was in China, he's been there twice." Remus laughed. "That's stupid."
"You're lush you are."
"Come here." Sirius held Remus close and kissed him. The door swung open and the pair quickly broke apart.
"Just so you know, Monty is out for the count and I'll have my earplugs in. Let yourselves go, don't worry about a thing. Night." Euphemia winked at the pair as she backed out of the room, closing the door.
"Oh god." Sirius groaned.

"I'm sorry I can't drive you back." Sirius muttered as the pair walked through the train station. "It's just work."
"Don't worry, I know what it's like."
They came to the barrier and Remus showed the guard his ticket before walking through the gate. Sirius made to follow but was stopped by the guard who placed a hand on his chest and pushed him back.
"Can I see your ticket please, sir?"
"I ain't got one mate. I'm just putting my boyfriend on the train."
"I'm afraid I can't let you through without a ticket." Sirius sighed in frustration.
"Why not? I'm just carrying his case for him." Sirius gestured to the large suitcase.
"Sir, I can't allow you onto the platform without a ticket."
"Don't be so tight." Remus scowled.
"I'm not prepared to discuss this any further. Now, can you please more to one side, you're holding up the other passengers." Sirius shook his head in disbelief.
"Sorry, babe." Sirius handed Remus his case and the pair moved to one side to talk over the barrier.
"Look, I'll ring you tonight." Remus smiled.
"No, ring me as soon as you get there." The pair leaned in and kissed.
"Right, that's enough." They broke apart to look at the guard. "You are currently in breach of security regulations. Nothing can be passed over the barrier."
"It was a kiss." Sirius moaned. The guard shrugged. "Right, I'll see you then." Sirius turned back to Remus.
"Bye." He watched as Remus walked away before turning to the guard.
"Thanks mate, you're lovely." He sighed as he shoved his hands in his pockets and walked off.
"SIRIUS!" Sirius turned around. "I LOVE YOU!" He grinned and waved at Remus once more. He thought for a moment before running back and jumping the barrier.
"OI!" The guard shouted but Sirius kept running. He ran alongside the train until he came to where Remus was sat, and knocked on the window. Remus quickly stood up and rushed to the open doors.
"Sirius? What're you doing?"
"Babe, I gotta say something. I know it might feel too soon, or too rushed but...but for me it feels absolutely right." Sirius let out a sigh, "I love you so much." Remus smiled. "Look, you coming to the Potter's....well...I dunno...it's just..." Sirius sighed once more as he slid one of the many rings off his finger and got down on one knee. "Remus, will you-"
"FREEZE!" The pair turned to look at the five security guards all stood around Sirius.
"What?"
"PUT YOUR ARMS IN THE AIR!"
"Hang on a minute." Sirius muttered.
"WHAT'S IN YOUR HAND?!"
"It's a ring alright, it's just a ring. I'm sorry. I was gonna ask my boyfriend to marry me." Remus looked down at Sirius. "Will you?" Sirius asked. "Will you marry me?"
"Yes!" Remus stepped off the train and went to hug Sirius.
"STAY WHERE YOU ARE!" One of the guards shouted.
"Can I just get the ring?"
"NO!"
"Sod it!" Remus grabbed the ring whilst Sirius knelt there grinning. The guards ran over and pulled Sirius up before dragging him off.
