"Tea." Lyall placed a mug down on the table for Lily. "I've got some bacon on. Do you want a sandwich or a full breakfast?"
"I'll take the sandwich." Lily sat down next to Remus. "So, how're you feeling?"
"Yeah. Excited I am. I can't wait to be honest."
"You're going through with it then, no more rows on the doorstep?"
"Stop winding him up." Lyall chuckled as he placed a sandwich in front of Lily and took a seat himself.
"I'm getting married in the morning!" Poppy sang as she came in through the back door carrying a box of flowers. "Ding dong the bells are gonna chime!" She placed the box down on the table and pointed at Lyall who sang the next line.
"Pull out the stopper."
"Let's have a whopper." Lily continued between mouthfuls of bacon sandwich.
"But get me to the church on time!" Poppy finished.
"These are so lush." Remus smiled at the flowers.
"You don't have to do anything to them, they've been treated."
"I'll put them upstairs out of the way." Lyall grabbed the box and disappeared off.***

Laughter could be heard coming from the en-suite. Sirius sighed as he opened the bathroom door.
"What're you doing?"
"Hey hey hey, this isn't for you. You're not seeing any of this until the speech."
"Yeah look, about the speech, it's not too long, is it?"
"If it's half as good as I know it is, it won't be long enough. They'll be calling for more." James laughed. "I'm gonna bang this in the car." He held up the carrier bag he was holding.
"Prongs?"
"Yeah?"
"It's going to be alright, isn't it?"
"What?"
"I mean, he's going to turn up, isn't he? I mean after the row and that."
"C'mon, what's this?" James put his arm around his friend. "Pre-marriage nerves? You silly sausage. Now look, I look at you and I look at him, you're like two peas in a bag." Sirius raised an eyebrow. "He'll turn up. I know he will. Stop your nonsense, alright?" James patted Sirius on the shoulder one last time before leaving him alone in the hotel room.
A few minutes later there was a knock on the door. "Am I alright to come in?"
"Yeah." The door opened and Euphemia stepped into the room. "You look lovely Effie."
"House Of Fraser. The hat cost more than the suit." Sirius stood in front of the mirror struggling to pin his buttonhole to the lapel of his suit. "Come here, sweetheart." Sirius turned to face Euphemia. "Let me do that." She placed her clutch down on the end of the bed and pinned the flower in place. She let out a sigh.
"What?"
"It seems like only yesterday that I was putting yours and James' school ties straight."
"Thanks Effie. Thank you for everything. I really do mean it. You've been amazing to me."
"Oh, Sirius." Euphemia pulled a tissue from her sleeve and dabbed her eyes.
"You've always been there for me and well thank you...mum." Euphemia gave a weak smile before hugging Sirius tightly.
"I'm going to get through so many tissues today." She chuckled.***

Sirius and James stood outside the church greeting guests.
"Give me a drag of that." Sirius nodded at the cigarette James was holding. James held his hand out and Sirius puffed on the cigarette.
"C'mere." James stubbed out the cigarette and sprayed Sirius' mouth with some breath spray. "Sniff." Sirius breathed onto James. "You're fine."
"Good."
"Don't do it Sirius." Phil laughed as himself and Ruth walked up to the church, "You'll regret it for the rest of your life, look at me."
"I bloody regret it." Ruth nudged her husband.
"See what I have to put up with, it ain't worth it, stay single."
"Do you know what, Phil, if it's that bad why don't you just up and leave?"
"I had my bag packed three weeks ago if you remember. It wasn't me on the doorstep shouting come back." Ruth pushed past James and Sirius. Phil sighed before following after her.
"They're going to be fun today." Fleamont chuckled as he escorted his wife into the church.
