Chapter 17: The plotting

On the other hand, in the morning itself, Naina had gotten a lead on the terrorists. She had went to see the supposed adda of theirs. She came and sneeked inside. She heard their conversation and recorded it on her phone.

Person 1: Waise bhi, yeh toh mahare liye accha hai.

Person 2: Aur nahi toh kya ek teer se do nishane.

Person 3: Par ek baat bato, yeh Kabir Sharma marrta kyu nahi! Isse pehele bhi toh boss ne usse marne ke liye  supari di thi kisi aur ko, tab kya hua?

Person 4: tab kisi ko uska shakal nahi pata tha. Humme sirf uss time par woh kaha hoga, yeh pata tha, toh waha jitne bhi log the unko maar diya. Par unfortunately, woh Kabir Sharma zinda nikla.

Person 5: Par yaar boss ko usse marna hu kyu hai?

Person 6: arre usske paas boss ke khilaf koi saboot hai.

Person 7: Oh, isiliye jaise hi boss Cananda se laute air uss Kabir Sharma ko dekha, boss ne usko marne ko kaha.

Person 8: Ha yaar. Woh toh ek aisa saala hai ki marta hi nahi! Isse pehele teen se char bar usse marne ki koshish nakaamiyab ho chuki hai.

Person 9: Par iss bar kaha jayega? Iss baar koi sadharan supari killers thodi na pade hai uske peeche. Iss baar toh hum hai! Arre humse toh puri India darti hai!

Person 10: Ha Aur nahi toh kya!? Agar gooli se nahi Mara toh bomb explode karke maar denge.

They all laughed. Naina estimated the number of people sitting there. They were around 30-40 people there. Naina only had a backup of 4 officers. Naina carefully escaped from there.

She went to the headquarters and informed about everything she had heard and played the recording. They all put the map of the area and timeline of attacks on Kabir Sharma. Naina notices that he had been attacked many times, there were three continous murder attempts on Kabir 8 years ago. The cases were always closed because of no leads on the case. But now, Naina wanted to save Kabir, she couldn't bare loosing anyone anymore.

Senior: Captain, humme Kabir Sharma ka zyada dhyan rakhna hoga. He's been under attack many times, koi toh hai jo nahi chahta ki Kabir unka parda fash karde.

Naina: Yes sir. Sir aap chinta mat kijiye, mera ghar unke bagal mai hi hai. I'll take extra care and precaution.

Senior: Captain, there is high risk of attack on Kabir, be careful and be around him as much as you can.

Naina: Ok sir.

Naina left the headquarters, she still had her doubts fixed on those reporters in KKN.

Naina came back and heard that Kabir had fallen unconscious. She tried to know where he was but no one knew which hospital he was admitted in. Naina had to find a way to find Kabir, she was scared if this was an attempt at killing him. Everyone in KKN were back to work but Naina wasn't able to concentrate. It was 9 o'clock and Kabir's news was read by Manav.

Naina took the auto and went to her house. She looked at Kabir's house. The lock was still on, Kabir hadn't returned. Naina informed the headquarters and everyone started searching for Kabir. Soon, Naina received a phone call.

Naina: Hello, bolo Rohit.

Rohit was Naina's junior and helper.

Rohit: Ma'am, Mr. Kabir Sharma mil gaye hai, Captain Abhimanyu ne unhe bacha liya tha. Woh unhe Care Hospital le gaye hai.

Naina: Ok, thanks.

Naina quickly changed and rushed to Care Hospital. When she arrived, Abhimanyu was sitting there in front of Kabir/Rajveer's room.

Naina: Abhimanyu sir, Kabir theek hai na?

Abhimanyu was shocked to see Naina there. He had to quickly cover up his presence there.

Abhimanyu: Naina! Pata hai, yeh koi Kabir Sharma hai jo ki bilkul Raj jaisa dikhta hai!

Naina: Jaanti hu sir. Par aap yeh bataye, Kabir kaise hai?

Abhimanyu: he's keeping up. Mujhe andar bulaya hai kuch kaam ke liye.

Naina: Theek hai sir, aap unhe bolna ki Naina aai hai milne.

Abhimanyu: Sure Naina, I'll tell.

Abhimanyu left for his room.

Abhimanyu entered his room and Rajveer looked at him who was going to do something he was told not to.

Abhimanyu: come on! Doctor aur nurse dono ne kaha tha na, don't do it! Kyu uthna chahte hi abhi?

Rajveer: mai kya karu yaar? Bore hogaya tha!

Abhimanyu: still! Anyways Naina idhar aai hai! Kya kahu?

Rajveer: koi nahi, let Naina in. I'll see everything.

Abhimanyu: kuch hua hai kya tum dono mai?

Rajveer: Kuch? Bohot kuch hua! Baad mai bataunga, let Naina in!

Abhimanyu: oooo...theek hai, hum bej dete hai Naina ko andar.

He went outside and Rajveer blushed.

Abhimanyu told Naina that she could go inside. Naina rushed in to meet Kabir.

Naina came in and hugged Kabir hard. She caressed his forehead and stroked his hair. Kabir also caressed her shoulder and her back.

Naina: Mujhe toh aapne dara hi diya tha! Agar aapko kuch ho jata toh mai kya karti?!

Kabir: Naina, mujhe kuch nahi hoga. I promise.

He kissed Naina's forehead. A tear escaped Naina's eyes. Kabir saw it and wiped it away from his hands.

Kabir: Nahi Naina. Kabhi bhi mat rono. Mai tumhare aankho mai aansu nahi dekhsakta.

Naina: Toh phir aap apne aap ko hurt mat hone dena.

Kabir: I promise. Agar tum apna dhyan rakhogi toh mai bhi theek rahunga.

Naina: maine apne zindagi mai bohot se logo ko khoya hai, mai ab aapko bhi nahi khona chahti.

Kabir: Naina, mai tumse kabhi alag nahi hua tha aur nahi hunga. I....I love you Naina.

Naina: I love you too.

Kabir: Naina, bohot der ho chuki hai, tum ab ghar jaao. Good night Naina.

Naina: Theek hai. Good night sweetheart.

Naina gave him a quick and small kiss on his lips. Kabir/Rajveer was shocked, this was the first time he had had a kiss on his lips from Naina ever since he had regained his memory.
