Channie was panting when he finally reached us sa second floor ng coffee shop. He looked so beat up and his usually slicked-back hair has been ruffled to complete disarray. Medyo nagusot na din ang suot n'yang shirt at halatang nahatak at pinanggigilan ng kung sino-sino sa labas. Who wouldn't look like this after the kind of mob he had to pass through, right? Nakakaawa tuloy s'yang tingnan.
Nagpasalamat s'ya sa bodyguard ko at maging sa owner ng coffee shop for coming to the rescue and assisting him to get here inside safely. He even apologized for causing a scene, but Joon assured him that it's fine.
"You look terrible. Are you okay?" Hyoni asked him out of concern.
"Yes. I'm okay. Thanks, Hyoni," sagot ni Channie na medyo hinihingal pa din.
"I'd have to leave you two up here since it looks like you have a lot to talk about. Joon oppa will let you know once it's safe outside. You take care okay? Just call me if you need anything and please wag kayong mag-away dito ha?" Hyoni joked, buzzed me on the cheeks, and waved goodbye to me and Channie.
Channie simply mouthed a shy thank you to her and slumped down in one of the couches looking extremely defeated.
I gave him a bottle of water and slightly massaged his shoulders too. Mukha kasi s'yang galing sa giyera.
"Why did you come here, anyway? And without any security with you pa talaga. You could have been hurt out there you know?" I started checking if he's got bruises or something to make sure he's okay.
"Sandy, you weren't answering any of my calls and your mom has been calling me non-stop too. Nag-aalala sila sa'yo because of what you told them sa group chat. So what can I do? All I know is I need to make sure that you are okay, especially with that shitty article that just came out. I'm so furious, so I came here rushing."
I hugged him, not saying a word. Okay na ko with everything. Ano man ang kahinatnan ng lahat ng ito, I don't care anymore. I have loved this man since childhood and I know how much he loves me. That's all that matters to me.
"No more hiding from now on. No more of this dating in secret. Mababaliw na ko kung parati na lang ganito. I've been so in love with you, Sandy since the first time I ever laid my eyes on you, and ever since bata pa tayo 'yun lang ang nag-iisang bagay sa buhay ko na hindi nagbago. Marry me, Sandy." His words were firm and the look on his eyes has never been this serious. To say that I was surprised by the sudden turn of events would be such an understatement.
"What? Are you sure? Why would you ask me that question now all of a sudden? Baka naguguluhan ka lang dahil sa article na 'yun. That's nothing, Channie. I'm not going anywhere naman just because there's a silly article out there telling lies about you. What's important is alam natin kung ano ang totoo." But I don't know why I suddenly started crying.
"So are you saying no? Sandy naman... Hindi ka pa din ba sigurado sa'ken?" May lungkot sa mga mata ni Channie. Alam kong disappointed s'ya sa narinig.
Of course gusto kong magpakasal kay kapre. Sino ba naman ang hindi maiinlove sa isang katulad ni Park Chanyeol? He's got everything I want and more. I can already imagine the look on our parents' faces especially the happiness of my siblings once they hear all about this proposal, but if he's only pressured to do this because of that stupid article, ayoko naman ata ng ganun. But Park Chanyeol knew me so well like the back of his hand. Nababasa na n'ya kung ano ang nasa isip ko kahit hindi ko pa sabihin.
"Sandy, my motivation isn't that article okay? Our agency will take care of it. They'd release an official statement, maybe sue Dispatch, and everyone in Korea will forget about it. But believe me when I tell you that I seriously wanna marry you. I want to take care of you. I want to wake up and make sure that it's your beautiful face I see first thing in the morning. I want to bicker with you over stupid puzzles every Sunday morning. I want to tell the world that I am proud to be your husband. I want to be your number one supporter and I want to be vocal about it to stop all the other fanboys from pursuing you. I want to be the next one to go on a Dara Tour with you in the Philippines. I want to buy you your favorite ice cream when you're feeling down. I want to buy you the most beautiful house so we can fill it with your favorite things and the happiest memories. I want to buy the biggest sofa there is so we could both fit in it. I want to make babies with you. I want to make you very happy."
He then went down on one knee and inilabas n'ya ang isang Tiffany box with the most beautiful and most sparkling diamond ring I have ever seen in my entire life. Gosh, sino bang makakatanggi sa ganito? This man right here is who I prayed for every single day and God seems to be talking and telling me right now that this man is all mine and I should keep him forever.
"Say yes to your number one fan boy, Miss Sandara Park. Will you please marry me?" Inulit n'ya ang tanong.
I tried wiping my tears pero tuloy-tuloy lang sa pagpatak ang luha ko. Hindi ko na sila mapigilan. I probably look like a complete mess right now pero parang sasabog na talaga ang dibdib ko with all the love I can see, hear and feel coming from him.
"Yes. I will marry you, Mister Park Chanyeol."
He put the ring on my finger and got up to finally embrace me tight.
"I love you, Sandy," anas ni Channie and planted gentle kisses on my forehead.
"I love you so much too, Channie," sagot ko naman.
He then held my hand tightly as we walked down together to get inside his car that's parked right in front of the coffee shop.
Hindi ko alam what came over Joon the coffee shop owner when he instructed his staff to play Channie's song 'Stay With Me'. Ang lakas ng trip! Nagkatitigan pa kami tuloy ni kapre at sabay pa kaming natawa dahil sa timing ng kanta. Para kasi kaming nasa isang music video o romantic movie complete with background music pa.
My bodyguard was quick on his feet and tried his best to manage the crowd outside. Channie shielded me from everyone to make sure I don't get hurt, but I could see the satisfied and proud smile he had on his face as if he's been waiting for this moment to happen for a very long time.
The staff and security of the coffee shop were also nice enough to help us out. Cameras were flashing. Reporters have obviously heard about Channie's sudden appearance here and immediately got here to get the latest scoop. Fans were screaming, but mostly cheering happily when they saw us come out together. The shock registered on all of their faces when they saw us holding hands felt so amazing to see. It all makes sense now. Everyone will know that Chandara is real, and that it has always been real. This love we have for each other is as real as it can get.

Nakangiti pa din si Channie when we finally got inside the car. He started driving and briefly told me that we're going home to my parents' house for now dahil for sure may mga reporters pa din sa labas ng apartment building ko. Ayaw daw n'ya kong ma-stress lalo.
"Sandy, I've been wondering why you're being extra emotional lately. I get it na in born naman talaga 'yang topak mo but lately, parang may iba. Parang may nagbago." He was deep in thought.
"Kapre, hindi porke pumayag na kong magpakasal sa'yo, pumapayag na din akong asarin mo ha? Please lang. Umayos ka kung ayaw mo na talagang topakin ako ngayon," I warned him.
"Oo na bansot. Buti na lang cute ka at love kita, but wait..." He suddenly stopped the engine of the car and parked it on the side of the road.
"Bakit ka biglang tumigil? I thought we're going home?" Lumingon pa ko sa likuran namin 'cause I thought may paparazzi na sumusunod sa amin.
"Baka kasi bigla akong patayin ng tatay mo, Sandy."
"What are you saying? Bakit ka naman n'ya papatayin?" Takang tanong ko. He's acting so weird right now.
"When was the last time you had your period?" He asked me from out of nowhere which completely threw me off.
I couldn't answer him right away because truth is, I don't really remember when. Napaisip tuloy ako bigla.
"Kung di ako nagkakamali, it's been more than two months already, Sandy. Maybe even three months," he said matter of factly and he started smiling because of God knows what.
I punched him on his shoulder so hard dahil sa sobrang inis, but he didn't even wince. He looked super elated thinking of the possibility.
"Stop talking as if sigurado ka na delayed ang period ko nang ganun katagal! Don't you dare be happy about this, Park Chanyeol! Napipikon na ko. Sure akong mapapatay ka ng tatay ko if I'm really..." Shocks! I can't even say the word pregnant. I'm so scared.
"Your period's delayed, baby. I think you're pregnant and malamang itong pogi kong mukha ang pinaglilihian mo ngayon kaya lagi kang gigil sa'ken. Wow! I'm gonna be a dad already. Imagine that?" Grabe 'yung ngiti n'ya. Talo pa ang tumama sa lotto. Nakakainis talaga!
