11. TRANSFORMER

I arrived at the shoot's location at around nine in the evening. Chanyeol was still sleeping soundly nang umalis ako sa bahay kaya hindi ko na din s'ya ginising para magpaalam. Nag-iwan na lang ako ng Chinese take-out at note para makakain agad s'ya paggising n'ya. For sure magugutom 'yun.

I can't imagine kung gaano katindi ang pagod na nararamdaman n'ya ngayon. Walang tigil ang ginawa n'yang rehearsals, concert performance, at mahabang byahe mula Germany papuntang Seoul para lang iligtas ang first kiss ko mula sa alien na si V ng BTS. I smiled to myself remembering the kiss again.

Hindi ko pa rin talaga lubos maisip na nagawa n'yang lahat nang 'yun. I really don't want to assume that he did all of that dahil mahal n'ya ko nang higit pa sa isang kaibigan. But why do I feel like that kiss was so genuine it's impossible not to be because of romantic love? Hopia ka na naman, Sandy. Umaasa pa din ako obviously.

My heart was happy. That I know. Magaan ang bawat hakbang ko that I almost felt like skipping. Nang makasalubong ko si V ng BTS, I even greeted him with a cheerful 'hello' na ikinagulat n'ya. Well, I don't really know if nagulat talaga  s'ya kasi iisa lang naman ang facial expression n'ya. Na-feel ko lang.

"Looks like someone's in a good mood." Bati ni Hyoni, the other actress in the drama, who went up to me para bumeso.

"I'm always happy." Hirit ko naman sa kanya. I really find her nice.

It was a very light set. Walang masyadong naging problema at nag-enjoy ako sa mga eksena. I was surprisingly relaxed and confident even when the supposed dreaded kissing scene was shot. Naka-tatlong takes kami para lang dun because V was the one nervous, but I didn't mind. Medyo napakunot pa nga ata ang noo ni V nang matapos ang eksena as if he was expecting me to go all shy and awkward because of it. Neknek n'ya.

Halos umaga na nang mag-declare ng pack up ang director. May mangilan-ngilang media ang pumunta to shoot some of the behind the scenes and to cover the web drama's progress kaya nagpaunlak na din ang production team at ibang cast na andun for a short Q&A with them.

One reporter came forward and directed a question to me.

"Dara, V said playfully in a previous TV interview that he's most excited to give you your first kiss in this drama. Is it true? Was he really your first kiss?" Straight-forward na tanong ng isang reporter.

I gave her a sincere smile. Medyo napalingon ako sa gawi ni V na kasalukuyang nakatungo. Mukhang marunong din naman palang mahiya ang alien. I debated with myself first kung totally ipapahiya ko ba s'ya, but I realized that he's still my leading man in the drama. We're one team, so I shouldn't be so harsh. It's not good for our publicity also.

"That's actually true. He's my very first kiss." I said firmly without batting an eyelash. "My first onscreen kiss." I added to correct it.

"What do you mean? Onscreen lang? Meaning you've had your first real kiss before this, Dara?" Follow up na tanong ng reporter which I already figured out she would ask.

I giggled a little. "As you know, I've been off the dating ban for almost a year already and I'm not getting any younger so yeah. Yun na yun..." Bitin na sagot ko na nagpatawa sa crowd. Yung iba napapalakpak pa sa tuwa at kilig. "But I really hope we can just focus on the drama because it's a good story and the entire cast and crew are working very hard to give you a beautiful drama." I pleaded to all the reporters.

"Well, we're just very happy that your heart seems like it's in a very good place right now. Your honesty is very refreshing so congratulations for this new drama." Bati ng reporter which I sincerely appreciated.

"Thank you."

Nagmadali akong makauwi pagkatapos, half-wishing na sana maabutan ko pa si Chanyeol sa apartment, but my heart sank when I got home. He's already gone. Medyo napangiti lang ako kasi I noticed that he fixed the bed really nicely. Hinugasan din n'ya ang pinagkainan n'ya. But it also somehow looked like he purposely didn't want to leave a trace of him being there.

I picked up the phone and tried to call him. Gusto ko lang masiguro na okay s'ya. But it just kept on ringing and ringing. Hindi sinasagot ni Chanyeol ang telepono, so I just sent him a text message. Halos isang oras din ang lumipas and yet wala pa din akong natanggap na reply from him.

Kainis naman. Ano 'to? Deadma na lang? Hit and run ganun? Ang bilis naman n'yang mag-transform. Kanina lang okay kami tapos ganito na? May pagka-bipolar din talaga ang kapreng 'to minsan.

Tumigil ka nga Sandy. You're always so ahead of yourself. Baka naman busy lang s'ya. Baka tulog pa din sa bahay n'ya since 48 hours straight lang naman s'yang walang matinong tulog just to get here. Hello. Ang hirap kaya nun.

But I went to sleep still bothered by Chanyeol's  silent treatment. Ewan ko ba. For some strange reason, I really feel like something is about to blow up.
