Usually I would go all excited even during rehearsals pa lang, but this top secret collaboration we're doing with EXO for MAMA just had the most unbelievable and most awkward timing ever. This is making me look so dumb and unprofessional. Why now? Kung kelan di kami okay ni Chanyeol saka pa talaga may ganito. Kanino bang idea na mag-collaborate ang SM and YG in one performance? Ang hirap-hirap!
To be honest, I felt so embarassed for giving our choreographer a hard time training us. I could tell he's frustrated with me. Nahihirapan kasi talaga akong iabsorb lahat with Chanyeol around. Even my bandmates could sense it and I was a bit relieved when CL asked for a time out dahil nahihirapan na daw ang lalamunan nya with all the singing. Although she's already recovered from the surgery, medyo nahihirapan pa din sya to sing and hit those powerful notes.
"Dara please. Get a hold of yourself nga. Don't let him get to you," CL whispered to me when we were out of earshot. The rest of EXO, Bom, and Minzy were sort of bonding on the other side of the studio, having the time of their lives.
"I'm sorry, CL. I'll do better I promise. Na-rattle lang ako 'cause di ko naman talaga inexpect that I'd see them here, especially him."
"Well the 'him' you're referring to is checking you out right now and he looks really concerned. Makipag-ayos ka na kasi sa kanya. Obvious naman na both of you are still not over each other. And Dara I'm telling you now that you have no choice, but to actually do better because the director would ask you to cover some of my lines. My vocal chord's really giving me a hard time. Ang hirap kumanta sa totoo lang. Please Dara. Do well. I know na mahirap, but you can do it. I know it," CL lightly squeezed my arm and I got goosebumps all over.
"Seryoso ka ba? I won't be able to hit those high notes. You know that better than anyone. And'yan naman sina Bom and Minzy," I protested.
"They will get more lines as well. But you would have to step up also lalo na sa rapping part. I'm counting on you, Dara. Do this for me," CL hugged me and joined the rest of the group.
I decided to get out for a couple of minutes. I really need to breathe in some fresh air. Maybe makakatulong sa litong-litong utak ko. Hay naku Sandara Park! Umayos ka nga!

Halos magka-heart attack ako nang marinig ang pamilyar at malalim na boses na tumawag mula sa likuran ko. I didn't have to turn around to find out who it was. Kapre is definitely in the house.
Tumayo s'ya sa tabi ko. His hands were inside his pockets and looking straight at the scenic view in front of us. Ilang inches lang ang layo ng braso ko sa braso nya. Juskoler naman! Bakit parang kinukuryente ako ng lupa?
"Hey," I answered back. Medyo nanginginig ang boses ko sa totoo lang, but I tried to compose myself as best as I could.
"Are you okay?" He asked all of a sudden na ikinagulat ko naman.
What?! Seryoso ba 'tong kapreng 'to sa tanong nya? He should know na I'm not okay. Obvious na obvious naman. Kulang na nga lang magkandadapa-dapa ako sa practice kanina.
"Nakakairita ka," I blurted it out bago ko pa napigilan ang sarili ko.
"Wow ha. Tindi mo talaga bansot. Ako pa talaga ang nakakairita?" He retorted back.
"Well since birth pa 'ko naiirita sa'yo for your info. Bakit ba kasi nandito kang kapre ka? Obvious naman na iniiwasan kita di ba?"
"Well be mad all you want, bansot. Just make sure you don't screw up sa practice para di ka mapagalitan ng choreographer. I just want you to be okay."
"Ang yabang mo!"
"What?!" Di na napigilan ni Channie na mapaharap sa 'kin dahil sa sinabi ko.
"Ang sabi ko ang yabang mo! Ang yabang-yabang mo! And I know why you went here. To show me na you're perfectly okay kahit hindi tayo okay. Fine! You're obviously unaffected by everything, but you don't have to come here and rub it on my face. Eto ako making a complete fool out of myself in front of everyone 'cause we broke up tapos you had the gall to come here looking all smug about it? Ang sama mo! Wag na wag ka nang pupunta sa bahay namin para makikain ha! Subukan mo lang talaga! Subukan mo lang..."
Ang dami-dami ko pa sanang gustong sabihin pero hinawakan ni Chanyeol ang balikat ko para maiharap ako sa kanya. Natameme ako. I was panting a little dahil sa haba ng litanya ko. He was looking straight into my eyes as if studying me intently. Biglang nag-init ang mukha ko and I am more than one hundred per cent sure na pulang-pula din ang pisngi ko. Ngayon ko lang ulit sya nakita nang malapitan ever since nag-away kami.
"Who told you that we broke up?" He asked me seriously, still maintaining eye contact.
"What? Ang labo-labo mo! Di ba nag-away tayo? So I thought that's already it. Wala na tayo..." I almost struggled to say that last part and tried to look away quickly, but he held my cheek and steadied my face towards him.
"You wish," Chanyeol told me before capturing my lips for a quick, but passionate kiss.
He held my hand after and then shifted his gaze back to the view with a smile of content. "Okay ka na?"
Napatango lang ako, still unable to utter a word. Ambilis ng pangyayari. But it felt so good. Parang nawala lahat ng doubts ko sa buhay. Gumaan lahat. Nagsimulang magpawis ang kamay ko, so tinangka kong bumitaw, but Chanyeol refused to let go. Oh well papel. Mukang na-miss din nya ko.
"So we didn't break up?" I asked innocently. Where I get all these dumb questions is beyond me, but I'm just glad na okay na kami.
"You're crazy," natatawa na lang na sagot n'ya sa sinabi ko.
"Masama bang maniguro?" Patay malisya ko pa ding sabi. "Saka sumusobra ka na kapre ha. Kapal ng mukha mong manghalik. Galit nga ako sa'yo di ba?"
Ginulo naman ni kapre ang buhok ko. "Basta kapag nagkamali ka sa practice mamaya hahalikan kita ulit." Banta ni Channie.
"Manyak!"
Sabay kaming bumalik ni Channie sa rehearsal studio and everyone was giving us a knowing look. Syet! Nakita kaya nila yung nangyari kanina? Wag naman po sana. Nakakahiya.
"Ang saya-saya!" Bulalas ni Chen nang makita kami all of a sudden.
"Ang saya ng ano?" Takang tanong ni Channie.
"Ang saya ma-inlove!" Malakas na sagot ni Chen.
Natawa lahat sa narinig at wala nang nagawa si Channie kundi habulin ng suntok si Chen. Nakipaghabulan naman sina Baekhyun at Sehun para hulihin si Channie. Di makapalag si kapre nang pagtulungan s'yang hawakan ng dalawa para kili-kilitiin ni Chen.
"Ang landi mong bata ka!" Pang-aasar pa lalo ni Chen sa walang kalaban-labang kapre.
