Ray sat in his chair in front of the group of teens bored, thinking of a fun activity. As chapa was giving off ideas, "early arrest on criminals, destroy their base?" Ray turns down each idea not feeling in the mood to do so. "Why dont you teach us school related things?" Mika blurted out. Ray thought about it looking into space, "uh how about NO!" Chapa and miles both felt a bit of their fear of school work die in a second. "How about we spend time in the river?" Bose asked, shocking everyone of his unique ideas. Mika looked around in fear, "do we have too?". Ray looked toward Bose kinda skeptical that he would be the one to think of it then towards Mika, "I made my decision we are going to ..." Ray really wanted to hold the suspense, "the lake" Mika looked in fear towards her brother trying to keep a fake smile up. "Miles, what's wrong with your sister?" chapa asked, Miles was hesitant, "well uh Mika doesn't like bodies of water?" Miles responded not so confident with his response. Chapa thought for a second before yelling out laughing, "MIKA CANT SWIM!" Miles tried to stop chapa but was too late causing Mika to fight back, "no I can swim I -I-I just don't like it." "So you can not swim, mika. Just tell us the truth" ray said. Mika was hesitant, "I can swim, finally answer!" Causing miles to blurt out without thinking, "then prove it scared cat! I challenge you to a swimming contest" Mika wind was racing was she really going to accept a challenge she knew she would lose. Ray commanded miles to teleport them to the lake, as they appeared Mika and Miles decided on the challenge of a swimming race between the two of them. Mika looked at with fear in her eyes as Ray got behind them, "ready on the count of three!" They both nodded as Bose and chapa sat back with popcorn. "THREE!" Ray screamed, pushing both of them into the water. As miles and Mika both dropped into the water splashing a wave socking ray Bose and Chapa laughed, waiting for 2 to pop up. After a second of waiting miles head popped up as he started like a motor boat swimming out. Time passed without signs of Mika. Ray looked over the edge toward the bottom not seeing anything. Fear grew over his face, thinking of the paperwork and everything. Chapa wait another second believing ray would be the one to be a lifeguard before dropping her pop corn and jumping into the lake. Chapa started searching the water for Mika not seeing anything, as miles finally made it back he looked towards his friends concerned as they had faces full of fear and sadness. "Where's Mika?" Miles asked, getting out of the lake. The group looked around waiting for one of them to say something, "uh how do we say think? We can-t f-f-find h-e-r" Chapa said holding back each word from miles. Miles fell to his knees looking towards the edge of the water finally thinking of what he did as sadness and anger consumed him.
