Bose POV
When we got outside the hospital, I carried Chapa in my arms to the lobby screaming for a doctor. The front staff Looked at me wondering why I was screaming then saw Chapa bleeding causing one of the staff members to grab a bed. I laid chapa down on the bed as me and the staff member wheeled the bed to an open room. When Miles saw that Chapa was getting service he left to help Ray and Mika. The nurse in one room got it set up for Chapa she turned to leave before saying, "a doctor will be here shortly." I was scared for chapa. I got right next to her seeing the pain in her eyes, "Chapa how are you feeling?" I asked hoping her sense of humor didn't get shot off. "What does it look like BOSE, I got shot. I'm dying if only it would have gotten Ray's ego." Chapa said in pain while trying to laugh. I knew she would be okay but I didn't want to leave her, I felt responsible for her. When the doctors came in he went and checked the wonder seeing that it didn't go too deep, showing that it wasn't too serious. He put chapa under as he worked to remove the bullet. When he removed the gun bullet he started to stitch the wound up As he was finished chapa was starting to wake up.
SHe looked past me reaching out and screamed, "the alligator, the alligator overlord, We need to wrestle him and DESTROY that Son of a muffin." I could not believe what she was saying I started filming this. (Do you know some Florida citizens actually wrestle alligators? I didn't know tell now)
The doctor interrupted my laughter telling me that chapa was being kept overnight for a few days and that visiting hours were ending soon. I looked at the doctor hoping I could find a way to stay but I understood why. The doctor just waited staring at me for my response, "okay doc i'll be back tomorrow." The doctor looked at me trying his best to act surprised and responded in a shocked tone, "yep i bet.". I was determined to come back as I went to a hallucination Chapa till talking about wrestling alligators and other crazy things. "Chapa I'll be back to see you tomorrow" Chapa looked at me smiling, "Okay see you.". I looked at chapa laughing to myself. As I left the room a could feel a piece of myself ripping apart as I got farther and farther from her apart of me left behind. When I left the hospital I texted Ray and the twins about the condition of Chapa before starting my journey home. When I got home everyone was in bed as I looked at the clock. It was eleven at night, I had not had any food since eight AM and I was surprisingly not hungry. I felt the air around me alone and cold. I crawled my way slowly to bed, not even changing to my PJ. Under the covers of my bed staring up at my ceiling awake, I laid alone trying to close my eyes but couldn't fall asleep.
