No pov

Chapa sat down at her desk nervous as she read each message she got about how danger was closing in on her. She always wants to show that she was fierce with no room for other emotions but she always feared about losing her friends. She knew about the danger but she didn't know how to keep her friends safe without showing them that she had weakness. She looked back down to see that she had a new message about the danger. Chapa took a deep breath thinking of what options she could possibly have. As she was thinking she got a new message offering for a trade for safety on her friends. She really only had one choice. She had to set up a deal with the devil, to negotiate the price of the trade. With one last moment chapa stood up looking at each one of her friends as a tear rolled down her eyes before stabbing herself in the heart with a pocket knife. As she fell to the ground she had a mixed feeling of regret and joy as she heard her friend by her side well her eyes slowly closed. Chapa watched from above as her friends cried hearing her hear drop to nothing. Chapa knew something was wrong as she watched Ray enter the mans nest, wobbling to the control panel. She could not see exactly what he was doing but it didn't look like ray's normal actions as he pressed buttons she watched as bose and miles tried to pull ray away from the control center well Mika tried to fix what every ray did but after a while even chapa knew it wasn't worth it. As the teens approached the exit of the man's nest the ceiling started to cave in. Schwoz tried his best to grab the team out of the door but the clock was ticking and as soon as Miles teleported, Schwoz was able to only get Mika out before the entrance closed, exploding the inside.

After a few days, Schwoz, Miles, and Mika went to the explosion site to search for anything that might have survived. As they searched around Mika froze as tears rolled down her eyes seeing the exact spot chapa fell on the ground save from any damage with writing on the wall, A life of a friend for the peace of others. Schwoz and the twins stood examining the writing as tears rolled down their eyes.
