Present Day"Mom! We're going to the beach already!" Rapunzel shouted as she runs down the stairs to where her three best friends wait for her.
"Be careful! And don't stay out too late!" They nodded even though they couldn't see them.
"Hurry before it gets too crowded." And they took off and rushed inside the big car before speeding away.
After all, what teen wouldn't want to visit the beach during their summer break? After finishing High School and beginning to start college this upcoming fall, they want to have as much fun as they possibly can.Within less than an hour they arrive and are happy to see it's still early so not many people are here.
Rushing out of the car they open the trunks, take out the cooler, towels, before running into the water like there's no tomorrow.•
•
As hours have gone by, everyone decided to lay down under the umbrella as they eat the sandwiches they've packed.
"Man I wish I could stay here my entire life. Just do whatever I want and be carefree." Rapunzel adds to the conversation.
"Same, I'm just glad to be done with high school. For sure, I'm not going to miss it, no matter what they say." Merida laughs as she takes a sip of her drink.
They didn't notice how Jack was quiet. He just stared off into the blue ocean with only one thought.
He remembers Elsa. He remembers how the day of graduation everyone was there to get their diploma, how they climbed up stage as everyone clapped, everyone but her.
He can't shake off the feeling, a feeling that tells him that it's something different. But whatever it is he pushes it aside and jumps to the conversation they're all having and pretending nothing's wrong. And after one meal later, Rapunzel reached for her phone in the bag and noticed she had over twenty messages from her family as she turned it on.
Quickly, she taps on a voice mail her mom left her."Rapunzel why aren't you answering!? Just come home immediately!" And that's the end of that.
She turned to face her friends who mirrored her reaction.
"Something's wrong. That was my mom and she told me to come home right away." As she stands up, so do the rest and not even questioning her actions, they follow her in rushing to the car and speeding off back in the direction they came from.
.
Pulling into the driveway and parking it in the garage, they rush out and and enter the house to find out that her parents are nowhere in sight. The only people that are there are a few officers and that's when they notice the police cars parked on the other side of the street.
"Where are my parents? And why are you here?" Rapunzel asks when the officers begin to walk towards them.
"Your parents are fine. We just need you kids to clean up and hurry down to the station. Something came up; please no questions till we get there."
"But-"
"Please just do it, we're in a hurry." And not giving the teenagers time to respond, they motion their hands to hurry upstairs. And the faces if the officers show not to mess with them and disobey their orders.

Jack's P.O.V
The minute we've finished cleaning up ourselves, we head back downstairs only to demand some answers but Merida beats us to it.
"Okay were done! Now, we demand to know what's going on." The firm look if her face is serious and far from joking.
"Let's just head to the station where your parents are waiting. We'll discuss everything there." Then were pushed out the door into the back of the car to the direction where we haven't been for over a year.
And nothing can help get rid of the feeling that's at the bottom of my stomach; a skittish feeling.
Once we park we run to the entrance where I see my dad waiting for me as everyone talks to...Detective Jasmine?
We haven't seen her in a while. It feels weird to be in the same room with everyone again. I look at them and their faces help give me an idea of what they're talking about. And it's so far it's not something pleasant by the looks of it.
Then our eyes meet and she glances one more time at our parents before running off to the other side with officers following behind.
I walk towards my dad and the look on his face; everyone's face, has me speechless as I step in front of them. Their faces are pale and there's something in their eyes that I can't make up.
The rest have the same expression as me which is confused and worried.
"Mom? Dad?" Hiccup asks when his parents turn to all of us.
"Kids...um.....I don't know how to tell you." The sound of their voice is just above a whisper and shaky.
Now it's my dad's turn to speak up, "Jack, it's her. They found her."
"They found Elsa."
I blink.
Once.
Twice.
Three times before I can come back to reality. What did he say?
"W-what?" Is all I can say as he waits for me to continue but don't bother.
"Rapunzel's parents are going to arrive to the hospital where she is. But Jack? They did find her." His face now changed to a seriouse one and he gives me a tight smile.
"She's here."
My brain can't seem to correspond at all. They found her? They found Elsa! Over a year and she's finally here!
I guess my dad knows what's in my head as he talks again, "We can't see her Jack. Only her family, the Corona's can see her since they're her adoptive parents."
I look at Rapuznel who's talking to her parents as she begins to cry. Without any feedback, they run out, probably on the way to the hospital.
Is this a dream?
Just as I was to follow them I'm pulled back.
"Jack, we can't go. It's not in our place to just barge in. After everything, she needs time. Especially after that one night." His voice laying out with disgust and sorrow.
If I have to think of that night I'm going to lose it. I did what I could to keep her alive but-
Oh shit. She definitely won't want to see me again. But, is there any hope at all. I couldn't just let her die.
"I know you did what you had to do. But Jack, this is something you have to live with. What she has to deal with. She's over eighteen as well, she can control who she sees. If she doesn't want to see you, then you have to keep space. Sorry Jack. This is her choice."
No, no!
She just come back and I'm not allowed to see her!?
"When can I see her then? I need to." I practically beg until he rubs his face with his hands.
"We'll see what happens but no promises. Remember that. Trust has to be earned." Yea well, get ready Elsa. I'm not going to lose you again.
