Elsa's eyes trail over Aidan as he stares randomly at objects around the now dark room. After her small breakdown, she decided it was best to sleep it off. But laying down was all she can do, afraid to sleep because you don't want to dream of your past isn't normal. So far, Elsa's been crying as quietly as she can while watching Aidan for hours.

A sob accidentally escapes, causing him to turn his head and look at his mommy.

"You're so i-innocent. Why d-did you have to end u-up with me for a m-mom? Huh? You're the only happiness I h-have left, and I don't e-even deserve y-you."

Aidan starts to whimper at the negative energy. His face scrunches up before he starts to cry.

"I got y-you." She stretches over and lifts him up in her arms. Aidan ends up resting his head on her shoulder as Elsa rocks back and forth as just she continues to cry. As they both cry. Together.

"I will always do."

It's been four days.

Four fucking days since she ate something.

And she's so close to......

Giving up?

The banging on the door had Elsa jolting in panic until she hears the familiar voice.

"Elsa let me in, hurry!"

She drags herself across the room as her bare feet scratch against the dirty, hard wood floor. Her shaking hands turn the locks and knob.
She realized the only way she can sleep these days is if the door is locked. And even then that's not enough.

Bell rushes in and locks the door before turning to see Elsa looking worse than two days ago. She rushes to her side and helps her back in bed.

"It's a good thing they let me out today. Here, I stole this from a few girls." She hands Elsa half a sandwich.

Before she can stop herself, her tongue waters, and she snatches the sandwich and eats it like it's the last she'll get.

As she finishes, she realized how stupid she must look. Her hair is ratty, her skin is dry and pale, her 'clothes', if you consider underwear and a t-shirt clothes, are torn and covered in her blood and filth, her eyes gone from any life, she must look like a walking corpse considering how skinny she is from lack of nutrition. And from the crumbs she does find to snack on, it all goes to the life in her stomach. It takes what she has for itself. And Elsa can't help but painfully starve. It's not enough for them. Both need more. Lots more. Their energy is draining.

"Don't overthink it, I already ate, so when I find more I'll bring it to you. Just make sure they don't see you. If they do, they won't feed you for another week."

'It was stupid, they took away my meals only because I've been slow and distracted with my work. Even though it was definitely unprepared, the baby comes first. I don't care about my punishment because the baby is always first. Only I didn't think this type of punishment would involve the baby from eating as well. Now I'm trying to eat what I can find.' It's true. The baby always comes first. End of it.

"Thank you." That's all she can say. What can she say? 'Thank you for feeding me when I can't even take care of the growing person inside me?' 'Thank you for risking yourself for me when they can easily kill you for helping me?'

"No problem. Just take care of yourself till I get back. I have to talk to Luke about something." Bell smiles but it's a sad one.

Speaking of the devil, he hasn't been around that much. The beatings have been less and less, and Elsa's knows that Bell has something to do with it.
