It's a Friday and finally I'm at home with Aidan by my side as he takes a small nap. I honestly don't know how I'm able to spend time with him when I work almost all day. I don't even have the energy to change out of my uniform. And let me tell you that it's dirty with stains and smells like coffee all the time.

But if working nonstop is what will help give him a better future than I guess I'm glad to do it for him.

He's slightly sleeping and it wouldn't hurt for me to close my eyes for a while either. But I'm waiting for Jack. Today he asked if he can come over and see Aidan which I agreed to since I could really use the rest for even a bit.

Aidan is barely awakening. Just in time before Jack comes. He fusses a bit to which I sit him on my lap. "Your daddy is almost here, okay."

It took Jack almost ten minutes to arrive and when he did, he entered the house with surprisingly Rapunzel, Merida and Hiccup.

That really woke me up.

They went into the kitchen but Jack was the only one who spotted me in the couch first.

"Hi."

"Hi." I answer back.

His eyes shift over to Aidan who's in my arms squirming. "Can I hold him?"

I look down at Aidan and think about it before slowly nodding and hand Aidan over to him. And just like that; Aidan stops struggling when he's with him.

How do you do it?

"I guess I have that one quality." He answers me. Oh my God, did I say that out loud? He senses my panic and says, "It's okay."

"Yeah. So, I'm going to go upstairs and change. Just yell for me if something is wrong." I say as I begin to climb the stairs to take a really quick shower and change out of these clothes.

.

.

As I dry my hair with a towel with one hand, I try to find a decent pair of clothes with the other through my closet.

I came up to find a pair of black jeans and a white top. Not bad. After putting on my undergarments, I snatch the clothes off the bed and get dressed.

I take a look in the mirror and do my bun and look at myself when done. This doesn't look bad. The top isn't revealing, and the jeans are comfortable. I hurry and put on any shoes I see which are flats and slowly go down, but not before grabbing the long cardigan I borrowed from Rapunzel.

Jack is on the floor with Aidan, handing him blocks, telling them what each toy is, and just plain baby talk. I don't think he heard me come down yet.

"Hey Aidan, can you say 'mama'? It will make your mom very happy I promise you." All Aidan did was throw his toy you across him and smile. "So that's a no."

He picks him up in surprise and throws him in the air. "When are you going to say your first word, huh? When? It better be soon." Jack's continues throwing Aidan in the air -not to highly- causing him to laugh
and I clear my throat to let him know I was there.

His response was quick. He turned his head and looked at me weirdly, making me self conscious. "Is something wrong?" I even look down at myself to see if I spilled something or messed up the clothes.
