Elsa's P.O.V

It's a bit awkward having to eat at this table again. My plate is filled with so much food that don't know where to start.

"Sweetheart, you should eat something."

I look at Mrs. Corona and see her with Aidan on her lap as she feeds him a bottle I prepared.

"I'm not that hungry." I'm really not. It's like eating is the last thing on my mind. I would hardly ever eat in that house.
Bell would always try to sneak something in for me and when she got caught she would get punished.
I kept telling her no, but she insisted. Especially since I was pregnant and needed it.

The woman sighs in defeat but pushes me.

"Okay, but later on today, I expect to see you eating. And to get your mind of things I was hoping you would like to come with me to the store. I would like to buy a few things for Aidan."

I look up at her and actually think about it. Aidan does need some things. But I don't have any money. I'm broke.

"T-that's really k-kind of you, but I don't have money to pay you back." Now I feel so embarrassed. I can't even buy a few simple things for my son.

"Oh Elsa, don't worry about it. You don't need to pay us back sweetheart."

"No, it's just....I think I need to start being on my own. I don't want to bother you guys for so many things, especially since I'm responsible for Aidan. I have to get used to support him by myself, I can't depend on help from everyone forever."

Her face shows a sign of hurt as she stares at Aidan.

"Okay, I understand." She gives me a sad smile.

"But, for now, since you just got home, I want to buy the necessities for the baby. It'll take some time to be able to find a job and all that. So, for now, whether you like it or not, I'm going to stay by you and help you out. Got it?"

"Okay. And, thank you. For e-everything. After all that's happened, you've all s-still stuck by m-me." The tears stream down my face as Mrs. Corona carefully brings me in a hug with Aidan between us.

Her comforting hands wrap around my shoulder where I give in as well.

"I think of Aidan as my grand-baby, and you...." She pulls us apart and with one hand she wipes my tears away with her thumb.

"....I think of you as my daughter. I love you all very much, don't forget." Her voice is just as delicate as I remember it used to be.

"O-okay."

She chuckles lightly and she straightens up before handing me my baby boy.

"Okay, so if you want to go and check up on a few stores, you're more than welcome to."

"Yea, I'd like to go. Thank you."

She squeezes my shoulder in comfort.

"No problem."

But at that same moment someone decided to interrupt.

"I'll be right back." Mrs. Corona gets up to go answer the door.

It's been a few minutes since she left and I'm getting a little anxious.

So, slowly I pick up Aidan and myself and walk towards the kitchen door and down the hallway as I hear other familiar voices.
