"Elsa!"
The second we reached the driveway of the house I undid my seatbelt and Aidan's too and basically run to the door, totally forgetting my bags in the trunk.
As I try and make the key fit with my shaking hands, Jack grabs my shoulder and turns me around.
"Okay, what's up? Why are you acting weird?" His eyes looking stressful.
I just turn back around in trying to find the right stupid key!
"I'm just tired." I whisper and he laughs.
"Tired? You're still going with that excuse?"
Out of frustration I accidentally drop the keys and rest my head on the door with teary eyes.
"What happened to you?" This time his voice was soft.
I shake my head at him and pick up my keys still without looking at him. But when his hands touch my arms I flinch and without thinking I face him. This is the first time I actually look him. And he stares at me shockingly for my actions.
"Don't touch me!" I point at him and then unlock my door and throw it open as I march inside with Aidan who's clutching onto my shirt and getting over his crying while resting his head over my shoulder.
"Elsa, wait!" I hear the front door slam and footsteps following.
I spin around and that's when the yelling starts.
"Just leave me alone! Why can't I have a minute of peace? I don't want to see anyone, especially you!
This is too much! I-I need a break.
I stop and hover over the couch as I shut my eyes tightly and let out a strangled cry.
"Just tell me what's wrong!?" Jack's shouts.
Just leave me alone! Leave. Me. Alone.
"Elsa?"
"Stop! Stop talking and leave me alone!"
He takes a step forward as I take one back.
"I don't want to see anyone right now, so please go!"
At that moment Rapunzel and her parents barge in from the kitchen. Mrs. Corona tries to walk towards me but I ask her not to.
"Elsa, what's wrong?" She looks at me so worriedly.
"I-I-I think I did s-something b-bad." Just the memory of the two men trying to touch me brought a lot of other painful and unforgettable memories. And now I hurt them. I hurt them. I've never hurt anybody. I tried not to even frown my past unless it was really necessary.
"Well, what happened?" Her attention turns to Jack who looks at her confused. Everyone actually looks scared.
"Jack?"
He just shakes his head, "I have no idea what's going on."
"It was my fault! I'm sorry!" I try to take deep breaths one more time.
