Chapter 12

Ashtrays pov
The day of the "big surprise" had finally come so I dressed up really nice and asked fez if he'd be okay with driving use around
not gonna lie I think fez was more excited than I was because he had dressed up nicely too

I called up y/n and told her to get ready and dress really presentable and I told her to bring my little buddy with her, since she was helping me I figured I'd treat her too

As fez and I pull up to y/n's house I got out with a thing of flowers and told fez I'd be back in a little, before I could even knock on the door my little buddy already had it open

I handed her one flower out of the bunch and headed in shutting the door behind me, seeing y/n sitting at the table made me remember why I do so much for her
She sat there smiling well I handed her the flowers, the house sounded way more quiet "So I'm guessing rosie isn't here?"

Y/n looked really upset "Nah last night me and her got in a fight and she said she was spending the night at her friends house" I gave her a warm smile letting her know it was going to be okay

"Hey let's not worry about her it's your special day!" I said grabbing her hand, we put the flowers in some water and were off
Y/n had given me a spare key just in case she had ever miss placed her's

I told her I would lock her door well her and her sister got in the car, fez had opened the door for them both and had got back in the the front seat
Making sure y/n wasn't looking I slipped my key under the mat and walked to the car

Waiting till we got a block away I texted the only person I could trust Lexi with remembering

"Hey we just left and
the keys under the mat"

"Okay I'm on my way
I'll be their in a bit"

And with that the plan was in motion, Lexi and her friends would set up the backyard well me and fez took the girls out for a couple of hours, by the time we got back we would surprise y/n with the party in the backyard
making sure it wasn't so big we only invited the people she knew from Lexi's friend group

~ A couple hours later ~

As we were messing around in the arcade I got a text from lexi saying that they were done decorating and the cake had arrived, I turned to y/n who was playing with her sister on a Jurassic park game shooting the dinosaurs, they looked like why were having fun so I let them finish the round

I looked over at fez who was trying to win a stuffed animal for lexi since they've been talking lately, I walked over to him "Hey I just wanna let you know that we're gonna be getting ready to leave here in a bit because everything is ready to go"
Bro was so focused on winning that stuffed animal that all he did was nod okay to me

I went back to y/n and her sister watching them smile and hearing my little buddies laugh made my day,
"Hey just checking in wanted to know if you still want to go home and have cake just us four?"

She looked at me and said "you know what that would be great just us four spending time together, I mean it's not like anyone else remembered my birthday so yea just us four"

It's sad how she thinks nobody cares for her because so many people would be miserable without her, she's gonna be so surprised when we get home

Y/n's pov
As we pulled up to the driveway I could see a bunch of cars but I didn't think much of it because the neighbors were having a party

When we were getting out of the car I noticed my little sister had fallen asleep on my shoulder, fez took notice and decided to help me out, he picked her up and had her asleep in his arms

Ash and fez were waiting for me to get out of the car so we could walk in together, I don't know why but it felt so nice having people who actually cared for me in my life

Ash walked me in first holding my hand "Hey y/n I have a surprise for you in the back, it might be a little to big to bring in so I want to take you out there, here you go first!"
I looked back at fez who was to busy fixing my sister's hair to notice me staring at him

As I walked out to my backyard I saw all of my friends holding confetti and immediately throwing it up "SURPRISE" I couldn't say anything I just looked back at ash who had the biggest smile on his face
He gave me the biggest hug, I could feel the tears rolling down my cheeks

One by one all of the guest came up to me and hugged me, it didn't feel real, I hadn't had a real birthday party since I was like 3, I couldn't believe that they did this for me, this night is going to be a core memory for sure
