Chapter 18

Y/n's pov

As I get closer to their store my stomach starts to get reall twisted like I had just went on a rollercoaster

I soon cross the street and park my bike on the side of the store, my hands start to shake because of how nervous I am

Ashtray's pov

As I'm locking up one side of the store, I hear foot steps coming from the other side

I look up in the mirror we have and see y/n standing their

I turn around to look at her but I don't say anything

Both of us stayed quiet for a couple seconds

I can see her eyes tearing up and her hands fidgeting

Y/n's pov

We just stared at each other with no emotions

Then...

All I could remember was us running to meet each other half way

I can't remember if I said sorry or if he said sorry, all I know is that who ever said it really did mean it

Being in his arms felt so amazing

At that moment I began to realize that I was never actually mad at him

Ashtray's pov

Holding her in my arms well she cried felt like nothing else mattered

I rested my head on top of hers and just held her

I would open my mouth here and there but nothing would ever come out

I felt so guilty even though I did nothing wrong, I still feel like this is all my fault

As I pulled away to wipe away her tears I told her " I missed you, you know that"

Y/n's pov

Once ash said that my face heated up like the s'mores we'd make in my backyard

Ash pulls away and directs me to the outside of the store

He then pulls down the big metal door and locks it on the bottom

After that he grabbed my hand again and walked me over to the makeshift stairs

One after the other we both got on the roof and watched the cars drive by

The pretty lights all around us made us feel like we were on cloud nine

We looked at each other and at the same time said

"I'm so glad you came back to me"

"I'm so glad you came back to me"
