Chapter 13

Y/n's pov
As the night went on it got better and better. Not only did I get the party I've always wanted, I'm hanging out with people who actually care about me

My little sister had finally woken up and was dancing with lexi and fez well I was dancing with ash

As we were dancing I heard someone opening up the door, I knew it wasn't my parents because I didn't hear a car pull up so that meant is was the only other person who lives here

Ashtrays pov
As me and y/n were dancing I saw her facial expression change a bit so I looked the same way she was and low in behold rosie and her friends were at the door

I was kinda mad because not only did I ask for rosie's help but she left for the whole day and didn't say anything

Y/n's pov
I looked at rosie than at her friends who were amazing that there was a party going on in the backyard

I was turning around to face ash when I overheard rosie telling friends something but I couldn't put together what she was saying
"Hey I'll be right back" I told ash as I was walking into my house

I was walking to my room to get a hair tie and heard talking, when I opened the door the room went silent until one of the girls got up and asked me "So what's up with the party?"

I looked at her with a smile and replied "Oh well it's my birthday and ash through me a party with a bunch of my friends" I wanted to laugh so hard because they all had their mouths were wide open

"Wait so it's your birthday today how come you didn't tell us rosie?" one of the girls said "Yea we could have pitched in to buy her something!" Another one said

"No really it's okay guys, I didn't expect you guys to know anyways" I said with a little laugh, I looked over at rosie and you could just see the anger on her face

And just to get her even more mad I looked at the girls and said "You guys are welcomed to come and party with us, their some food and were gonna sing happy birthday in a bit"

I have never seen a group of girls so happy in my life they all got up and started walking with me to the back

Ashtrays pov
I saw y/n walking with rosie's friends and had so many questions, I could hear her telling them where everything was and she even introduced them to rue's little sister gia

She walked back over to me and wrapped her arms around my neck, "what on earth are you doing?" I asked well laugh, she told what had happened in her room with rosie and I couldn't help but laugh

She got what she deserved

Y/n's pov
Everyone at the party had gathered around the table well fez brought the cake, from their everyone started singing me happy birthday, their was so many faces to look at

But the one I wanted to stare at the most was ash's he looked so happy it made me happy, I don't think I would have made it this far I life if it wasn't for him

After everyone was done eating cake, everyone circled around me to watch me open presents

The first box I grabbed was from lexi, she had gotten me poetic books and journals which meant a lot because last time we talked I was telling her about how much poetry calms me down

The second gift was a card from rue and gia, they wrote a sweet little message and gave me five dollars, I looked over at rue who was smiling and giving me a thumbs up, I could tell gia wrote the note and rue put the money in

One of the last gifts I got was from fez, he had given me a collection of my favorite movies, it's sweet how he remembers that I like them because no one else does

As I was getting ready to tell everyone thank you ash come up to me and handed me a box

In the box was a ring and a necklace that has a moon on it, They were so beautiful I looked up at him and gave him the biggest hug, he let go of me and turned to everyone else

"If everyone could listen to me for like 5 minutes I'd really appreciate it, before I meant this girl I was skipping class and getting into lots of trouble, she changed me into a better person she taught me how to love, I never really had a female figure in my life until her and she showed me a different world, she showed me that kids weren't so bad, this girl gave me more reason to live"

During the speech he took the necklace out of the box and put it around my next

"And because of that she has my heart and soul, the necklace represents how much I love her to the moon and back and the ring is a promise ring to make sure that you always know I'll keep my promises"

After that the night was even better a couple of ash's friends came by and one have a backpack filled with fireworks

We ended off the night with lighting them and watching them in the sky, I'd say this was the best surprise ever
