'Thank you' was the last thing i said to Michael before I boarded the plane. I felt a wave of relief wash over me. I felt free, yet guilty for leaving him here. I just hope for the best.

After a while of staring out the window I fell into a peaceful sleep that I hadn't had in a while.
-
"Ok buckle your seat belts we are now coming to a landing, thank you for flying on Southwest Airlines we hope to see you again soon." the co-pilot said. I opened my eyes and looked out the window to see LAX. I smiled at the thought of seeing my family. I felt the plane lowering itself down, the tires hitting the ground, and the plane coming to a stop.

When I got off the plane i looked at my surroundings. I felt safe to finally be in California again, to be around people. I walked out the front doors and felt the warm, summer air around me. Quickly I hailed a taxi and told the driver my address. I couldn't believe I was finally going home.
-
"Ok that will be $90.46" the taxi driver stopped the car.

"Here's one hundred, keep the change." I smiled. I quickly got out of the car and ran to the door. I hesitated before knocking on the door. I could hear footsteps coming closer to the door, then the door opened.

"May I help you?"
