I ran as fast as my legs could carry. I looked behind me to see I was already far enough that I couldn't see the place I was being held at. I stopped for a moment to look at my surroundings. I was no where near a city or people, everything was deserted.

For a while I continued running some more until I saw a road and later on small two buildings. I smiled at the thought of coming home but before I knew it I blacked out.
-
I woke up sweating, in a bed I didn't recognize. My vision was blurry and I had a huge headache.

"Oh darling you woke up." a woman said in a Texan accent.

"Where am I?"

"You're safe don't worry, where did you come from?" She smiled.

"That's not important, I just need to get to a bus or train. I need to get to California." I shook my head.

"Ok hon you need to rest a bit more, and I'll get you to California." she nodded pushing slowly down to the bed.

"No I have to."

"Don't worry, just go to sleep." she finally said and I fell asleep.
-
"Honey wake up." Someone shook me. "wake up your brother is here for you." I quickly shot up and stared at her as if she were crazy.

"Brother?" My heart started beating like a drum and my breathing got heavier.

"Yeah he's downstairs, come on." she smiled and grabbed my hand. I tried to pull back but her grip was tight around my arm. She took me downstairs and I was shaking most of the time. When we got to the bottom I was relieved at the sight of Michael smiling. I quickly ran and hugged him.

"Come on let's take you home." he hugged me back.
