Chapter 27

Alexa's POV
Today was my first day of chemo and I was scared of the thought. I didn't know what was going to happen to me and I didn't know what to expect. Last night when I saw Nash I felt my heart break. I really don't want to leave him or our kids. 

"Ok Alexa, we'll get started now." Dr.Lee said.

"Good luck, I love you." Nash kissed my  forehead and I was taken to another room.

"Ok Alexa you did perfect just come back in next week." She smiled.

"Ok, well thank you Dr.Lee."

"No problem, I will prescribe you your medicines and here." She handed me two papers, a small one and a big one."There is group therapies here every Tuesday at 2, I really suggest you go."

"Oh ok I'll think about it." I slightly smiled.

"Have a nice day Alexa." She said before exiting. 

"How'd it go?" Nash asked as I put on my hoodie.

"It was alright, if I want to get better I just got to get through it." 

"I'm sorry Alexa."

"Look this isn't your fault, I guess you could say it was destiny." I sighed. "Let's not get sad over this, I'm just going to live my life like I always do."

"I love you so much." He hugged me.

"I love you too."

"Whatever happens just know I'm here for you."

"I know and I thank you."

"Come on let's go, we need to pick up Olivia."

"Mama!" I heard Olivia scream. She read towards me and I engulfed her in a huge hug.

"Hey baby."

"What's for dinner?" She giggled and I chuckled.

"Well, how does spaghetti sound?"

"Yay!"

"Come on." I giggled and carried her to the car. 

"Daddy!"

"Hey honey." Nash kissed Olivia. "How was school." He started the car. 

"Good, we learned how to draw a horse and we learned about butterflies!" She giggled.

"That's great baby!" I smiled and began to feel light headed.

"You ok babe?" Nash rested his hand on my thigh.

"Yeah I just got a bit light headed."

"Mama why is there blood on your nose?" I heard Olivia say. I quickly pulled down the mirror and wiped my nose.

"It was just a nose bleed baby don't worry." I faked a smile."I'll be fine."

I just hope I'll be fine.
