Chapter 4

"Michael what day is it?" I asked him as he drove away from the women's home.

"July 26th, 2018"

"Wow, it's been a year." I then realized today is the anniversary of when I became Nash's girlfriend.

"Yeah it has been." He sighed. "Alexa I'm so sorry, I never knew Frank would take it to far, I only thought he was going to use you for drugs but not prostitution."

"Michael it's not your fault, he was insane, mental. Who knows what he had going in his mind." I sighed replaying the bad memories in my head. "So where are we going?"

"It's getting late, We'll stop at a motel so you can shower, tomorrow I'll take you to the airport." he smiled.

"Thank you Michael."

"Ok we're here" He parked the car. "Do you wanna call someone?"

"I just want to get a peaceful sleep, I'm sure they can wait one more day." I faked a smile.

"Ok let's get inside." he smiled back.

When we went inside of the motel room, it was something I'm missed seeing. I missed a bed, a bathroom, a mirror, I even missed tv.

"Ok I'm going to go to the McDonald's next door to get some food, make yourself at home." he put down his things. "oh and I bought you some clothes yesterday, I just hope they fit you." he said handing me undergarments, a pair of yoga pants, a grey,oversized hoodie, and moccasins that were my size.

"Yeah this is good, I'm going to take a shower if you don't mind."

"Yeah yeah, I'll be next door if you need me." with that he left. When I went to the bathroom the first thing I saw was the mirror. I took a look at myself one time and instantly scared myself. My hair was tangled, I had dirt on my face, and there were bruises on my skin. I stripped of my clothes scanning all the bruises and cuts I had on my legs and arms. I turned on the shower and entered the hot water. My whole body was relaxed. This was definitely something I missed the most.
