I was ordered to go to Alexander Pierce's home to be given an assignment. I took a seat on the armchair in his bedroom, waiting for him. I placed my gun on the side table, having it pointed towards me.
He was got out of the bathroom in pajama pants and a bath robe when he saw me. He looked at the gun and then back to me. He wasn't that much of a threat to me, but I was ready for whatever he had planned in case he were to test me. Even if he wanted to use my own gun to shoot me, I would not fight back. If that's what they wanted, then I wouldn't have a say or a choice in the matter.
He walked over the small wet bar that was near the bathroom door. "Do you want a drink? I usually like having a drink before bed. Helps my nerves relax. This a very expensive glass of Cognac. Almost worth four thousand dollars. It's probably the most expensive drink you'll ever be offered." He said, looking back at me as he held up a glass.
I kept my eyes trained on him. He walked over to his bed side table with his drink in his hand and pulled out a file. He sat down on the other armchair. He took a sip of his drink, studying me for a moment before he continued.
"The Prime Minister of France is in town for the UN conference," Pierce informed me as he placed a file on the small round table that was between the armchairs. "He has plans to discuss the recent concerns about an arms dealer that's smuggling weapons through the border of France. Normally, I would have the Asset handle this situation, but I need someone to have a bit more finesse. They said you're the best for that job."
I tilted my head up slightly, secretly smirking. Soldat was better when it came to aggressive tactical approaches. I was just as skilled too, but Soldat was more of a brute force type where I can be a bit more discreet depending on the mission.
"I need this handled quietly. I can't have it be labeled as an assassination. I want a confirmed death in twelve hours. You think you can accomplish that, Luna?"
I held my head up high as I grasped the file. I placed my weapon back into my holster and walked away to the balcony door. Alexander Pierce watched as I climbed over the railing and jumped down to his backyard.
Within thirty minutes of my mission, I managed to sneak into the Prime Minster's hotel room while he was away without needing to take out any of his security guards. I was dressed up as the housekeeper, preparing to leave fresh towels and vacuuming his room. I managed to use a device that hacked the security cameras to play a false video footage of the hallway to the Prime Minister's hotel floor. It would look like the guards were standing by without anyone entering the floor of the Prime Minster. So, my housekeeper disguise wouldn't even appear on the real footage due to the device.
While I was in the room of the Prime Minster, I switched his insulin shots with a drug that would cause him to develop more ketones. It would trigger his diabetes to act out and bring him to ketoacidosis, causing his blood to create the toxic acids that would cause him to die. The drug was perfect because it wouldn't give the known symptoms if his blood sugar was getting too high. The Prime Minster wouldn't suspect anything until it was too late. The drug was too secretive to be traced in hospital tests. The doctors that would try to figure out his cause of death would assume he wasn't taking his insulin shots or the insulin dosage was incorrect.
At the final hour of the Prime Minster's life, I snuck in again and waited until he was alone in his hotel room. He enjoyed listening to classical music so it wasn't uncommon for it to play while I was in there with him. He fell to the ground and tried to crawl to his phone to contact someone. I came out of my hiding spot, placed his arm over my shoulder, and had him lay down in the bed. He was grunting in pain, trying to get words to form, but couldn't. I pulled out a syringe and the vial that carried the drug. As I filled the syringe, the Prime Minister was gasping for air and clutching onto his chest. I lifted the Prime Minster's shirt and injected the needle into his lower abdomen. With the last dosage, his true cause of death would never be detected. Once the needle was out, I leaned forward toward's the Prime Minster's ear.
