"It was a stupid decision for you to make," Tony ridiculed as Bucky and I stood in front of the monitor. "Both of you are lucky that you weren't captured."

"Look, we're sorry, Tony. We know that it was a stupid call. It won't happen again," I said.

"I'm glad the two of you made up, but given how hard it was to find Petrov's current whereabouts until now would mean that it would be hard to find him if one of you get captured," Steve added.

"Or worse, both of you."

"We won't do it again," Bucky replied. "What's the latest that's been going on at your end? Did you find Iliana's father?"

Steve answered, "We managed to infiltrate and capture him while he was transporting a shipment out of the base."

I nodded, "Great, so you're heading back to the tower?"

"No, we're not taking him to the tower. We're taking him to a fully secured facility to have him questioned. After he's questioned, he's going to placed under arrest," Tony announced.

"Why won't you just bring him to the tower?" I asked, frowning.

Steve sighed, "We think it'll be best if you keep your distance from him, Iliana."

"But you said that I can ask him questions."

"I will be there to interrogate him. We will find out everything you need to know, but I need you to trust me. It'll be better if you don't question him."

I shook my head, "No, I don't want to be told what he said. Look, if you don't want me to see him, fine. The least thing you can do is let me be on the other side of the room watching the interrogation. Meet me halfway here."

Tony sighed, "Fine, we'll figure out a way to bring you to the facility, but you are only staying in the other room. You are not to see him. He is not to see you. Neither of you will exchange a word. Do you understand?"

Bucky studied Tony and Steve. "Why are you so keen on Iliana not interacting with her father? What do you know? What are you hiding from her?"

Steve looked down for a moment and then stared at Iliana. "Iliana, the man who you thought was your father isn't a good man. Any memory or thought you had for your father during the time before you were captured, I suggest you disregard it in any way you can."

"It's that bad?" I mumbled.

Natasha came up to the monitor. "I had a moment with him while we were trying to get him. When I told him that his daughter was alive, he laughed. He said that you were of no use to them now and that you should be dead for betraying Hydra."

My throat constricted, but I nodded my head. "How long until you get back?"

"We'll be back early in the morning. Get some rest and don't leave the tower," Tony warned us before he disconnected the video call.

Bucky's arm wrapped around my waist and pulled me towards him. "Are you okay?"

I nodded, "Let's go to the room."

Bucky and I walked to my bedroom. I sat down on my bed, running my fingers through my hair. Bucky sat next to me and rubbed my back.

"Do you want to talk about it?"

I shook my head and leaned my head against his shoulder.

Bucky grimaced, looking at his hands. "I need to talk to you about something."

"What is it?"

"Are you still afraid of my arm?" Bucky asked with concern. "I need to know."

"Why? Is it a deal breaker if I am?"
