So this is it, that's how it ends
I guess there's nothing more romantic than dying with your friends

Two years later

"Well that's a sight."

My eyes flew open Nat standing there, arms crossed, amused smirk on her face. I glanced down Bucky, Steve, and me in the middle, all cramped in our one bed...naked still from the night before. "Oh my god." I began shaking them. "Get up."

Steve groaned. "Why ar-Nat!" He shot up trying scrambling out of bed to find something to cover himself up with as Bucky just began laughing from beside me.

"Get dressed," She told me as I began to sit up keeping the blanket wrapped tightly around me. "It's an emergency." Her face grew serious as she turned around and walked outside leaving us to mull in her leftover silence. I glanced at Steve who was finishing zipping up his pants.

I stood up. "That doesn't sound good."

"No it doesn't." He pulled a shirt over his head and followed her out.

I got clothes on as quickly as I could letting my thoughts wander faster than I could catch them coming up with ideas of what possible could be going on. "I'm sure its nothing." Bucky said from behind me sitting up finally. "It always is."

"I don't know..." I glanced back at him. "Something feels off about this." I rushed outside Nat and Steve hunched together watching something. I approached slowly hearing the commotion coming from the small screen. "What is that?" I asked watching the large circular aircraft hover over New York.

Nat's eyes locked with mine. "Nothing good."

"Do we know what's going on?" I asked but she just shook her head.

And suddenly, Steve's pocket began to ring. We all stood there staring at each other in silence as it rang again. We weren't really using our phones knowing they could be traced and we would be found out, so hearing the sound was strange. We didn't know how to react. It rang a third time finally Steve digging it out of his pocket staring down at the light up screen on the front. "It's Tony." I scrambled forward opening the phone and putting it to his ear. His forehead furrowed as he stepped back. "Bruce. Woah-woah slow down."

Nat and I looked at each other. "I thought..."

"He did." She confirmed.

"Tony's where?" Steve put his hand to his ear trying to listen to Bruce ramble on the other side of the phone. "Okay. Okay we'll find him. See you soon." Steve shut the phone and put it back in his pocket looking back up at us. "Has Wanda checked in with you?"

"She's in Scotland." Nat told him.

"We need to find them, and fast." Steve said. "Suit up."

He loaded the gun for me, checking it out while he did, and shoved it down in the holster. "Think that should be enough?" I raised an eyebrow at him motioning to the plethora of weapons he dug out of Nat's stash on the jet.

"No." He dropped down to hide his smirk as he placed another knife within my boot.

"Then come with." I urged him as he rose back up. He shook his head, but didn't feed me some lame excuse. He probably would say he didn't want to risk being seen or arrested, but I knew what he was worried about. He didn't want his mind to go back to that place. All this time he spent healing and he was so much better for it, and I wish he could see that that person was never coming back.

He nodded his head to Steve and Natasha. "You got your Avengers."

I scoffed, "Doesn't mean I don't need you."
