Later Lola and Marshall are sitting in town square. Marshall is trying to calm Lola down when Kite comes over with two soft drink bottles.
Kite: Which one do you want?
Marshall: Whichever one's not carbonated Kite.
Kite: Uh, they're both carbonated.
Marshall: Oh. Then-(takes the red bottle and gives Lola the yellow one) Here Lola. That'll calm you down.
Lola: Thanks Marsh. So uh, who's he?
Marshall: Oh right! Kite's a duelist I met In Heartland City.
Lola: Heartland City? Isn't it hard to get into that place?
Kite: Not really. Anyone who's a duelist is welcome in Heartland.
Marshall: Yep. The guys and I were in Heartland City for a dueling tournament. That's where we met Kite.
Lola: Woah! You must be pretty good!
Kite: Understatement. There's no duelist who can defeat me!
Marshall: Except me Kite.
Kite: (sighs) Oh, ya had to bring that up.
Marshall: (laughs) Yeah. You know, it has been a while since we last dueled Kite, so think you can take me?

Kite: Can you get serious? Sure! We'll duel. i've got some numbers I want to put to the test.
Marshall: Well I can help with that.
Marshall and Kite activate their duel disks and draw their hand of five cards. The millennium Puzzle glows as Marshall gets ready to rumble.
Kite: Let the hunt begin!
Marshall: It's time to DUEL!
Lola: Here we go!
