"How do you know me?" Thalia asked looking at the woman, as she studied the room.
"And you said my real name, how did you know it? We never met before" Melaina then asked her.
"And what did you mean by a tiny human? How dare you call me such a vail thing?"
"Ignore him," Melaina says elbowing him in the side.
"I was"
Castor scoffed at the woman with an eye roll before crossing his arms not saying anything else seeing as his question wasn't gonna get answered any time soon. Both Thalia and Melaina were standing in the middle of the room next to her three sons looking around the room. Melaina could tell that everything was in Greek and that most of the books in the giant room were in Ancient Greek.
"Tell me Thalia have you always known you were the daughter of Zeus?" She asked, flipping through a book.
"No. I just recently made this discovery" Thalia answered her, watching as Melaina walked over to the bookcase on the other side of the room. "Why?"
"And did your mother know she made love to a God?"
"Does anyone?" She asked, feeling awkward and exposed.
"Well I mean some of my partners have screamed out loud that I'm God or God made," Castor says coming next to Melaina.
"Ok, first off, you're not a God," Thalia says, destroying that fantasy of himself instantly. "And second of all, ew"
"Tiny human please do not interrupt our conversations with your poor needs of wanting to be a part of something and being an attention whore" Veritas says to him before finally settling on a page in her book.
Castor looked at the woman flabbergasted while everyone snickered to themselves. "Excuse me! How dare you say such a ridiculous thing about me? That is far from the truth"
"No I'd say it's pretty accurate," Melaina says not paying attention to the conversation for the most part as she looked over a book about her father's life.
"She is the Goddess of Truth for a reason, Castor"
"If I am incorrect tell me where my knowledge is wrong? Leda, is your mother, the daughter of an Aetolian king, who was married to the Spartan king, Tyndareus. However, Leda attracted the attention of Zeus, who appeared in the form of a swan to mate with her," Thalia's eyes grew wide at hearing this information, but she didn't say anything. "Even though both you and your brother, Polydeuces or Pollux, as he likes to be called, are twins, Polydeuces was the product of Zeus and Leda while you, Castor, were sired by Tyndareus and Leda. As a result, Polydeuces is immortal while you are mortal and able to die"
"Psst lucky guess," He says not batting an eye at her. "Anyone could have guessed that"
"Oh, you want something more close to home?" She challenged, closing her book and finally turning around to look at them all. They all stopped their individual snooping to momentarily look at her. With a sigh she sat down in her chair, eyes trained solely on him. "You have only stayed alive and well for this long due to your brother's oath to his father that he will keep you out of trouble with the Gods if Zeus bless you with a long youthful life till you find love, Zeus, of course, agreed, seeing as you're still here, but Pollux made it that way because he knew you were too selfish and self-centred to think of anyone, but yourself, when the moment came"
"Ouch" Thalia frowned, glancing over at him, while he stood there with an emotionless expression. "Castor, I-"
"Fuck you!" He tells Veritas, who was already looking back into her book. "And you?" He says looking towards Thalia. "Leave your pity for me in the trash, I don't need it or this"
