"Melinoë!?"
"Mel!?"
Running frantically through the kingdom's hall, the two searched for their friend, checking every room they could that wasn't locked or had guards standing in front of them. Thalia began to start worrying about seeing so many guards walking the halls armed with fierce looks on their faces. She looked to Castor for comfort, but he wore the same expression as her.
"This is silly, of us. If he's out to get us, we shouldn't be out in the open like this" He whispered to her as they ducked behind a fish tank. "And my Zeus! This man lives on the ocean floor, literally, why must he surround himself with fish related things like this?" He says annoyed, looking at the tank. "It's just not good decorating if you ask me"
"Weren't you the one giving him compliments about his home décor?" She says looking over her shoulder at him while crouching down slowly moving past the guards.
"I was making nice with our host. Excuse me for being nice for once" He says tripping over Thalia's foot, causing a vase to fall and shatter. Thalia looked down at the broken glass before looking at him with anger in her eyes. "It was an accident"
She let out a sigh, she grabbed his wrist quickly moving away from the broken glass, seeing guards coming towards them, and behind a statue of Poseidon.
She released her grip from his wrist, letting out an exhausted sigh while running her hand through her hair. "Could you be any louder?" She angrily whispered and yelled at him. "Or reckless for that matter?"
"Like I said it was an accident," He says shoving past her, walking in front of her, against her protest. "Plus, it was ugly, I did him a favour when you think about it"
"Castor, what are you doing?" She says staying behind the statue. "You can't just walk out there like that"
"Watch me" He challenged smugly, walking backwards. Thalia's eyes pierced around his figure, seeing a guard, looking at him. She smiled smugly to herself, crossing her arms over her chest not saying a word to him. "Oh? What have nothing else to say to me?"
Thalia shrugged, shaking her head. "Just two words," She says, pointing behind him. "Behind you"
Castor gave her a confused look before turning around to meet the shining grey metal armour guard. Castor let out a peal of a nervous chuckle, waving at him.
"Heh, hi?" He says sheepishly smiling at him. "I don't suppose you would want to help me with finding my friend, do you?"
The guard grunted, tightening their grip on their weapon, swinging it at him. Dodging quickly, Castor moves out of the way, letting his weapon clash with the ground.
"I'm going to take that as a no" Castor says standing up straight, making sure his hair wasn't out of place. Thalia's laughter from the other side of the hall caught his attention. "This won't be that long, flightless bird. You go off and find what you can while I have a civil conversation with my dear friend here" his eyes trained back on the guard.
Thalia nodded as she walked away from the two, leaving them there. Jogging slightly, she made her way towards her and Melaina's shared room. Searching her eyes landed on her spear that was placed on the nightstand. Grabbing it, she extended it fully, twirling it around in her hands while smiling to herself, before she minimize the spear, putting it in her back pocket. She turned to walk out till she saw Melaina's sword in the corner of the room. She went to grab them both and was stopped by two guards, who stood in the doorway.
Reaching for the spear behind her, she eyed them as they made their way into the room. "Oh crap," She says, seeing them stand on each side of her. "I would just like to say, that I am never this ruthless" pulling the spear from behind her, she extended it. "But I'm in a rush to save my friend, so let's get this over with"
Instantly she swung the spear to her left, attacking the first guard, as she blocked a hit from the other one. Twirling her weapon around she eyed them, thinking of her next move as they stalked in on her more. Stimulatously the guards swung their swords, Thalia instead of blocking them went low, kicking their legs taking away their balance. Grabbing both of their heads, she knocked them out, dragging them to the bedpost, tying the two up.
"I'm sorry. Really" She says though they couldn't hear her. Grabbing Melaina's swords she left the room, meeting Castor in the hall. "There you are"
"Here I am," he says looking her up and down. "Why are you out of breath?" She threw her back in the direction of the room. Castor poked his head in seeing the unconscious guards. "Ah, very well then. Should we get going?"
"After you," she says extending her hand out for him to walk first.
Castor processed in front of her till more guards showed up, stopping them both in their tracks. Thalia pulled castor, about to turn and run in the other direction, till she saw guards at the end of the hall.
"Think we can take them?" Castor says as his back met hers, eyeing the group of men.
"I don't see why not," She says looking at them all.
Just then all the guards raised their weapons; some with spears, others with mini harpoon guns, while with the majority had swords.
"Still feeling optimistic?"
"Of course! With my abilities and your fighting skills, we can take them, no problem" she says, passing him both of Melaina's swords. "Ready?"
Just then Poseidon made his way through the guards, standing front and centre, looking at the two with intimating eyes. "You two should have just minded your own business," He tells them, looking down at them with furious eyes.
