~ CHAPTER 5 ~

After everyone ate breakfast, all the Madrigals quickly went out to go and get ready for Antonio's gift ceremony.

"What do you want us to do Abuela?" Y/n asked as she saw all the Madrigals start running around the casita.

"You all can help us set up for Tonito's ceremony, if you would like to of course." Alma said as she gave a sincere smile towards the family.

"We would love to help, we'll help with whatever you need." Adriana said as she guided all of her children out of the dining room and to the main area.

"Ok, all of you, don't cause any mischief. Alma asked us to help so we will and if I find out you're not doing something you're supposed to be doing, there will be consequences." The older woman stared down at her children with a very intense stare, making all of them cower.

"Máma, do you want me to help?" Valentino asked as he looked up at his mother with puppy dog eyes.

"Of course not hijo, you can go play with Antonio if you want to. His mother said he was a little nervous for today." Valentino's eyes lit up and ran up the stairs and into the nursery to go play with Antonio.

"Go on, go help!" Their mother said as the group quickly disbanded. 

Y/n went outside to go see that Mirabel was outside talking to some little kids, she decided against that since she didn't like little kids much, besides Antonio and her brother of course.

She saw that Luisa, Isabela, Julieta and Camilo were all in the town. Pepa was over in a field with a cloud over her head and it seemed to be pouring down ran on her.

Y/n immediately rushed over to her, "Señora, are you alright?" She asked as she stood next to the older woman.

"Oh, hola Y/n, I'm fine. 100% fine. Totally ok." Pepa said as she mumbled under her breath 'clear skies' over and over again.

"Señora, it's ok if you're not alright." Y/n said as she placed her hand on her shoulder.

Mirabel came rushing over to the both of us with a group of kids following behind, "And there's Tía Pepa, she handles the weather." Mirabel quickly sung as she ran away from the group of kids who were shouting her name.

Y/n looked at where the group just was and decided to console the woman, who you could tell was freaking out.

"Señora, what's wrong? You can trust me and you don't have to tell me everything." Y/n quickly added as she saw Pepa's face look up at her.

"Are you sure? I don't want to be a burden." Pepa said as she started sitting down.

Y/n sat down next to her, "Señora, you won't be a burden, I know that everyone has feelings. It's just that yours are more obvious." The younger girl said as she looked to the woman, whos thunderous clouds slowly turned to a drizzle.

"Well, I'm just a little stressed that the gift ceremony won't work for Tonito and then Abuela will think something is wrong with the Encanto, and on top of all of that, I don't want to ruin anyone's night with a storm." Pepa finished as her drizzle got a little harder until both Y/n and Pepa were drenched.

"Señora, you shouldn't worry about Antonio, I'm sure everything will be fine, and if he doesn't get a gift nothing will change from before. Also, you shouldn't worry about creating a storm, because you can let your emotions show too, and if you don't worry everything will be just fine." Y/n said as she grabbed Pepa's hand, Pepa's rain slowly turned into a gorgeous rainbow.

"Gracías, Y/n. I really needed that." Pepa said as she stood back up with Y/n holding her arm.

"Let's head back to Casita, I'm sure Señor Félix is worried about where you are." Y/n said as she started walking with Pepa.

The two started walking back and were conversing the whole way back, Y/n making Pepa laugh every so often. They both looked ahead as they heard fast paced steps running towards them.

"Mi amor! I couldn't find where you were, I saw there were clouds in the sky." Félix said as he grabbed his wife's hand pulling her into an embrace.

Pepa pulled away and smiled towards the young girl standing a few feet away from them "It's alright mi amor, Y/n helped me." Félix smiled towards the young girl and pulled her into a hug.

"Gracías Y/n, I know Pepa is a little stressed today." He said as he returned to his wife's side and put his arm around her waist.

Pepa glared down at her husband put quickly snapped it back into a smile when she heard him laugh.

"Well, we're gonna go inside and start decorating, want to join us?" Félix said as him and Pepa started walking inside the house.

"I will a little later, adiós!" Y/n said as she turned to start walking towards the town until she saw that the kids were still talking to Mirabel and she saw a man with a large gift basket hand it to her.

Y/n decided to walk over to Mirabel's side as she seemed that she was walking inside the house and was struggling with the gift basket.

"Hola Mirabel! Would you like some help carrying that?" Y/n said as she looked at the struggling girl.

"Oh no! I can do it, don't worry!" Mirabel said as she clumsily almost tripped up the steps and she walked in the house, with Y/n walking beside her.

They were both dodging people who were seeming to start setting up for the ceremony.

The both got pushed back with wind as they saw that Pepa was walking in circles and Y/n almost started walking over to her until she saw Isabela come down from vines she created.

"Thank you" Pepa said with a small smile as her and Félix started walking away, going back to what they were doing.

Y/n wasn't paying attention while Isabela and Mirabel were bickering and she didn't see Mirabel walk into the kitchen. She looked around but she couldn't find her and was about to start looking around until she heard someone yell from the top of the stairs.

"Hey! Looking good over there!" She looked up and met eyes with Camilo who smirked at her, she glared back at him.

"Camilo! We need another José!" His abuela said as he transformed into the tall man who was hanging up the banner while yelling his name.

When the two men were finished hanging up the banner, Y/n started walking upstairs and purposely bumped into Camilo.

"Hey, watch where you're going!" Camilo said as he turned around to look at the girl.

Y/n just stared at him, not talking, "Well? Aren't you going to say something?" 

She continued to stare at the boy, she looked at his facial features, noticing his hazel eyes that had a multitude of different colors, his golden brown skin and his many freckles scattered everywhere on his face.

The boy groaned, "God you're so annoying, I asked you a question aren't you going to answer it?" He stared at the girl with so much anger in his eyes.

The girl finally started talking, "I'm annoying? You're literally the human version of period cramps." The girl smirked at him.

He looked shocked but quickly returned to his annoyed demeanor "Oh yeah? Well.. I hope that both sides of your pillow are warm!" He said as he tried making a quick comeback in his head.

The girl looked at the boy with confusion in her eyes and a few seconds later started laughing. She couldn't stop. "What's so funny?" He said as he looked towards the girl who was holding onto the wall to help her stand up.

"What... kind of... comeback... was... that?" She said in between laughs as she held her stomach.

He didn't know what came over him but he was annoyed that she was laughing at him. Y/n immediately stopped laughing as she felt her body being pushed up to a wall.

"If you don't stop laughing, I'll make you stop." Camilo said as he looked into the shocked girls eyes.

Once she realized what was going on, she smirked and said, "Make me then."
