~Back to Present Day~

Camilo's POV

I looked outside and saw that the sun had started to come up. I looked down at the sleeping girl in my arms. She seemed to be sleeping very peacefully and even had a small smile on her face.

My hands were still gently playing with her hair and I traced my hands, lightly, over her face.

I noticed all the features that highlighted her, I noticed a scratch above her eyebrow. It looked fairly new, probably from what happened a little while ago.

Her eyes started to slowly flutter open and once she saw me, she gave me a smile.

"Hola, hermosa." I said.

"Hola, Cami." She said while sitting up slightly and moving out of my arms a bit.

"How did you sleep?" I said, her smile instantly faded and she looked down.

"Um, fine." She said and tried moving out of my grasp, probably feeling slightly uncomfortable.

My face probably looked worried because she tried convincing me that nothing was wrong.

"Do you want to tell me what happened yet?" I said and held her hands in mine, she slowly slipped out of them and got off the bed.

"Maybe later." She said and opened the door and walked out of my room, leaving me there on the bed.

I stood up to follow her and as soon as I walked out of my room, my sister stood right in front of me. She looked like she was crying.

"Lola, are you ok?" I said, she smiled at her nickname but her smile faded again, quickly.

"I'm fine, but maybe you should keep watch on Y/n today. Something terrible happened last night, I'm not going to say anything because it isn't my place. But, just be nice to her, she doesn't need anymore problems." Dolores said and sped by me and down the stairs.

I heard her sniffles fade and was shocked at what she said. Why is Y/n not telling me if it was so terrible? I thought she trusted me.

The doubt of the situation started to fill in my head. I started heading towards the stairs and once I was at the bottom, I saw almost all of the family up. It was weird, considering it was only around 6 in the morning, at least.

"Hola, mijo." I was greeted with a loving hug by my mamá.

"Hola, mamí. Did you sleep well?" I asked her and she smiled brightly at me, I saw a little rainbow form above her head.

"Sí! Very well, I don't think I've slept this well in ages!" She beamed and walked over to talk to her sister and her husband.

I looked around and noticed that everyone was sitting down, the food was already prepared on the table. I was almost the last one here, the only person missing was Y/n.

"Buenos Días, everyone! Let us all eat, I have some news that I think all of you will enjoy." As some people took their seats, I took the last seat, which was next to Dolores and my papá.

Once everyone was sitting down and started grabbing food, Abuela continued talking. "As I was saying before, I decided that today will be a day of relaxation. So no chores today! You can all do as you please, I asked the townspeople yesterday and they said they can manage with one day of us not helping them." The family all seemed shocked by this.

I was, honestly, relieved. I could focus on trying to find Y/n and help her. Once Abuela was done, everyone started eating, some people were making conversation, I didn't talk to anyone.
