Enchanted feelings

The morning had been warm and sunny but as the hours passed by
the day became a little gloomier and windy which Isabela hoped it wouldn't interfere with the planned activities

"Thinking about how to get rid of me?"

Isabela flinched slightly
she had gotten a little lost in her thoughts while waiting on the soft grass to notice Elena approaching

"No!" Isabela quickly got up and fixed the hem of her dress with a blush creeping up her cheeks "I'm sure you won't give me a lot of trouble"

"I'm not a demanding client" Elena winked

"Uh...Should we get going?" Isabela felt a bit skittish

"Yes. follow me?"

"I thought I was going to be the guide?" Isabela laughed softly

"I'm taking you to our ride, I was going to bring her all they way to pick you up, but on our way here we stopped by a brook and she wanted to stay and play in the water" Elena chuckled

"She..You didn't bring a boar as our ride, right? Isabela playfully squinted as they made their way to the nearby stream

"No, my mom took her for a ride so I had to improvise with a pig instead" Elena looked at her with such a serious face that Isabela almost believed her

Until she burst out laughing "I'm kidding!"

"Oh" Isabela giggled

"I'll give you a clue. She's big, strong, and fast"

"You're describing a pig" Isabela mumbled teasingly

Elena snorted "Um well she makes this sound - Ewiineiiwghugrbrr"

Isabela stared at her confused

"Ewiineiiwghugrbrr" Elena tried again as if it would suddenly make it clear

Isabela's mouth twitched trying to hold in a laugh

"Ewiineiiwghugrbrr"

"Elena. It's not that your interpretation isn't good but ... I have no idea"

Elena chuckled "I think it's best if I show you"

When they got there Elena pointed at a huge pile of rocks "There she is!"

"Well that clearly doesn't make that sound"

Elena chortled "Oh wait...We have different angles of view"

Isabela chuckled and moved closer to Elena's side immediately taking sight of the carefree creature roaming behind it

"Come here girl!" Elena called out and to Isabela's amusement the equine obeyed gleefully

"Isabela this is my horse, Furia"

"Wow! She's beautiful" Isabela softly smiled and hesitantly reached out "Can I?"

"Of course!"

Isabela brought a hand up and carefully caressed her neck and immediately Furia nuzzled her affectionately

"Oh! She likes you" Elena smiled adoringly

Isabela widely grinned as she kept petting her

"Did I really not sound like a horse?"

"Can I hear it again?"

Elena complied making the sound once more

"Eh yeah now that I hear it again it totally does..."

Elena laughed "Just like it right?"

"Absolutely" Isabela chuckled back

"Are you ready to go?"

Isabela quickly nodded with a smile

"Do you need help up?"

"Yes, please" Isabela could do it by herself, she had mounted before but
she found herself wanting the other girl's assistance

Elena gently lifted her and Isabela climbed up "There" Elena beamed and effortlessly got on, sitting at the front.

"You tell me where to and off we'll go"

"It's actually not very far from here" Isabela pointed at the route "Just follow that path"

"If you want you can eh...Hold onto my waist, Furia can be frisky "

Isabela tentatively put her arms around her with a flushed face "I have fallen off a few donkeys"

"Oh no" Elena giggled "Hold on extra tight then"

Isabela nodded but her arms remained stiff as a board

And sure thing Furia briskly made her way to the trail fortunately without any funny mishaps

Minutes later they arrived and Elena hopped off holding out a hand for Isabela to dismount

"Thanks"

"No hay problema" Elena took a long look around "Secluded I see...You don't plan on stealing my things and leaving me stranded do you?"

Isabela raised an eyebrow with a smirk 

Making Elena laugh as she turned to  Furia "Run away before she takes you"

After leaving an energetic Furia to explore freely they began their own scouting under the tall trees and along the blooming flowers "This is amazing" Elena murmured along the way

"There's a little hill up front once we get there we can sit for a bit and look at the birds they spend their afternoons on those trees"

"Sounds awesome"

"And I made something to eat...We could also-"

"Have a picnic?" Elena smiled excitedly

"Yeah" Isabela nodded coyly

"Let me get that"

"Last time you carried my basket"

"And this time I'll carry your bag"

Isabela shook her head with a smile as Elena slung it across her shoulder "Now..." She casted a mischievous look at Isabela and took a hold of the bottom of her dress before she took off running "See you there!"

Isabela cheerfully sprinted to her side all the way up the hill

With a chuckle Elena sat down a little out of air "You are fast"

Isabela took a seat alongside her with a smile  "I have younger sisters and cousins...Running away before they see me has saved me from countless things"

Elena laughed "I get you"

Just as they had settled in to gaze at the birds a strong gust of wind hit them with the sound of distant thunder.
