THOMAS's POV
Tomorrow I would go into the maze.

It was safe to assume I was scared and why shouldn't I be after living with WICKED for so long I have seen what they are capable of and I know there are no boundaries they won't cross to find their sacred cure.

I know what the right thing to do is but that doesn't mean I'm not about shit myself while doing that right thing. I have help from others as well who are just as annoyed with WICKED as I am. I have given them mountains of classified elite only information and their going to help me get it to better people. The Right Arm to be exact.

Over my years here at WICKED not only did we have to protect our infrastructure from the cranks but also from a determined rebellion called the Right Arm.

The plan was I would create a distraction by trying to break into the maze (memories intact so I can actually help save everyone) while Lance (an old janitor) and Zip (a berg pilot trainee) leave in a berg going across the scorch to find the Right Arm or find a way to contact them and tell them about what's happening at WICKED. Then as lame as it sounds we wait for help, we can't take down WICKED on our own but with the help from a rebellion we have a stronger chance.

Now why did I want to stop WICKED?
It's not because they want to cure a deadly virus that makes people lose their minds, go crazy and become murder hungry lunatics until their brain shuts down. It's because they want to cure a deadly virus that makes people lose their minds, go crazy and become murder hungry lunatics until their brain shuts down by torturing kids and innocent people. Creating savage grievers and locking them in an unsolvable maze to give them trauma so they can have a blueprint. Only a blueprint!

And now WICKED is talking about a stage two for the trails. More trauma. More death. More problems.

All of this ran through my head as I walked the WICKED halls to go see my councillor. Chancellor Paige said it would be best if I had someone to talk to about all my thoughts so she's making me go to therapy.

The therapist is a really lovely lady called Mary Cooper. Mary was someone I trusted and when it came time for my distraction I would need her help. I opened the door and took a seat on the couch and Mary sat in an armchair to the left. She had a clipboard in her hand like every other doctor in this facility.

"Evening Thomas how has your day been?" She asks in her usual welcoming tone.

"It has been alright but there are a few things I would like to discuss" I say leaning towards her. I go through the plan with her. I was anxious at first but the more I went on the more Mary looked like I had just told her the plan to beating the boss on her new video game.

"Thomas you have no idea how much that information is about to benefit us both" She said hurriedly getting up and walking over to her desk. She pulled out an old dusty radio.

"This is M1 is R.A there please respond" She said then the static of the radio returned.
"R.A please respond" she said again.

"Mary what's happened" A male voice came through the radio.

"Vince you need to listen, I have vital information where are you guys" Mary said with such urgency that made me curious and eager to understand what was happening.

"What's going on?" I asked quietly getting up.

Mary ignored me and finalised things with Vince. Mary picked up the radio and dropped it in the floor and stomped down on it twice. The device completely broken and unusable now. She picked it up and slammed it into the bin for one last hit.

She looked up to me with wide eyes "We gotta move" she said and made her way to the door. I followed close behind.

"What just happened?, Who are you?" I asked trying to get answers before I continue following this lady, getting into who knows what kind of trouble.

"I'm a spy for the Right Arm Thomas and you have just given me everything we need to end WICKED".
