"Where's June?" Lily asks as she walks into the living room, towel drying her golden hair.
"Napping," he says, and Lily groans.
"She really got that exhausted stripping her bed's sheets?" she asks, shaking her head as Jin laughs, watching as beads of water slip down the side of Lily's face.
"I put in the first load of laundry when I walked in and found her sleeping," Jin assures her. "I know today will be hard for you, so you can just relax and I'll take care of it."
Lily huffs. "June should be the one doing it, not you. She was the one who volunteered."
Jin smiles at Lily, his heart warming at her sentiment. "Go easy on your sister. Remember today is just as hard for her as it is for you."
Lily purses her lips. "Touché."
Jin laughs. "Go get some rest. I'll make us a nice dinner later."
"I'm picking the movie tonight," Lily calls over her shoulder as she walks to her bedroom. "I will loudly and proudly recite the lines as they're said."
"I'm looking forward to it," he says as he hears her bedroom door shut behind her, and his smile falls from his lips.
She won't ever forgive him for what he did.
