Chapter Eight: Try To Reveal

The red headed girl woke up from her slumber. She wasn't used to this kind of living since lived in a luxurious house but she managed to fit in of where she was. She turned to the man who was contently deep in his sleep, snoring ever so quietly even though a man should snore louder. And believe her, she would know since her father was a snorer.

For once in their relationship, she got a chance to look at his intricate details of his face. His skin looked flawless but she touched them once and they were actually hard yet it could soften depending on his mood. His furry eyebrows looked like it needed a cut but she didn't mind it. It suits him.

"Done staring at me?" he asked groggily which made her snap out of her thoughts. She was too deep into her mind that she didn't notice Eret already has woken up and she was still looking at his details. "Am I really that handsome?"

His girlfriend rolled her eyes. "Maybe you are," she teased his ego and stood up. She wore his shirt which was too big for her but she didn't mind. The shoulder length sleeves gave on to her elbows and it stopped on her mid thighs. She loved wearing his shirts. It smelled like him and it was also so comfortable.

"You look really good in my shirts," he complimented as she roamed around the small apartment he owns. He smirked and sat up, watching her little detail of how she wore his overgrown shirts.

"You think so?" she asked and turned to him and she stopped staring at him when he answered with a nod. She smiled and walked over to him. "I'll be on the bathroom." She pecked his lips and went over to it.

Eret sat himself up at the edge of the bed, near the bathroom. The couple was living on his apartment when Merida refused to go back home and commanded to everyone to not tell her parents that she was back. For the past week, she had been living in his conditions. He insisted for her to live with Elsa or so because he didn't want to be an unluxurious person. He didn't have much money, as you know, but he can only afford a simple apartment with one bedroom and one bathroom.

Merida didn't mind it at all though. Anything for getting away from her nagging parents about her suitors to marry. Plus, a bonus one was she can spend sometime with her boyfriend. It's a win-win situation...well except for her parents but, oh well.

The worried man waited for his girlfriend as he popped some words on his mind to tell that she can't live here anymore. Not that he didn't like her. No. He lov-I mean, he liked her here and spending time with him but she needed to tell her parents about her coming back. They must be worried about her.

Looking up from his stare of the tiles to the person who opened the bathroom door, there was Merida in his shirt again and a towel wrapped around her hair. She took off her towel and brushed her hair.

"Hey, I was thinking," Eret said as he came behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist, hugging her the other way. She only gave him a look. "Won't it be nice for you to introduce me to your parents? I mean, we've been together for years, we should know each other's parents."

Shoot! Oh no, what is she going to say? Oh no, no, no.... She remained quiet after his suggestion and kept brushing her hair. She didn't want to answer that at all. At all. But she knew she had to or he would get a suspicion that he didn't want to be introduced to her family. She did want to do that and show to their faces that she already has a boyfriend but she know that they won't approve him because of his bloodline. She hate it so bad that some people hates him because of his bloodline. He was different from them, she knew that from the start when they met on high school. When they both bumped into each other.

"I-I don't think that's a good idea," she shook her head as she tied her hair into a messy ponytail. He furrowed his eyebrows at her response. He was hoping for an enthusiastic reply but you can't expect that was on your mind be come true. She got out of his embrace and hug the towel back on the rack.
